Out of everybody's hands
Cannot fault the product, nor can I fault the service and efficency in which it arrived, faultless and very pleased with my experience. I have ocd, and this is no fault of anyone's actually apart from the manufacturer. The print on the back on one of the assenders is miss printed and only slightly off. I'm sorry for even messaging but it completely threw my head. Again apologies for the message, still 10/10 service and product.

Really great piece of kit at a good price.
I was a little wary, as I hadn't heard of NewDoar before, and was expecting something that looked and felt low quality. I was really pleasantly surprised to find that the parcel arrived very quickly and that the ascender is one of excellent quality! I have since checked the safety information and found that they are CE and EN tested and compliant, and even have UIAA accreditation, which really is the gold standard for any "life critical" equipment. All in all I'm very pleased. I almost gave 5 stars - and I never do that!

Good value
I needed a back up system for climbing my mast and this rope clamp (jumar) did the job. It took a while to sus out the best way to operate especially descending. But with any work at height kit you should make sure it is fit for purpose and you are familiar in how it operates.

It works, but could be better.
It works and works fine. But if it has had a heavy load, then you try to take it off the rope, it's not the easiest thing to get off. It's almost impossible to do one handed. The lever to disengage it just isn't well designed, so it jams and you have to use two hands to unjam. It's not the end of the world, and it is a budget price, so I can't complain really.

I'm 69 yrs old and had to do repairs on my 2 story home, after attempting to go up there with no security I decided to purchase this along with a harness and tree climber rope. It was a good price and works perfectly as expected! I wrote a previous review in which I claimed it "was not a vulcanized plastic handle" I was INCORRECT this is and is very important as it give you that "SURE" grip when climbing!! I would by it again 👍👍
