I ordered the black swing, it came with all parts needed to assemble plus two long black chains to hang on my own hooks! In most reviews, customers complained about rust, but all metal rusts, so I will spare paint it when that happens.Remember that each nut included is a LOCK NUT, which means each nut goes onto the bolt in ONE direction, so that the plastic piece inside the nut holds it in place, so please don't melt them before install! *(see photo taken from instruction booklet clearly stating about assembly of chains)...each end of each chain goes into the arm/backrest of swing differently, if you put ut together the wrong way, just reverse the ends to correct, unlike other reviews! Most comfortable metal swing I have had the pleasure of owning, so beautiful that my kids ordered a 2nd one for me for Mother's Day!! Will enjoy both metal swings for many years, thank you!!

I got this to go under my deck, for a walk out basement, shady area.Senior citizen - female, assembled & hung two of these by myself. Not easy alone, but doable.Pros:* Looks really nice.* Seat is pretty comfy for sitting outside.* Easy to assemble, though a second set of hands would be helpful.* Chains are sturdy, & long enough to give a nice glide feel, when swinging.* The color match to the rust preventing spray paint cans is perfect. (Krylon)Cons:* These things always rust, so I had my spray can on day 1, & hit all the joints & bolts.* Despite preemptively spraying, it's still rusting in spots, so I keep the can handy.* It is metal, & squared off edges, so it does get less comfy after a while.Overall, I love this swing. I tried the first one, everyone loved it, so I got a second one fast.I bought some cheapo foam seat pads, & that solved the discomfort of the metal seats, with the only issue being the rust. It's under $10. for a rust preventative spray paint, so I just hit any spots I see coming, whenever I see them. It will be years before I run out, & I was delighted to see the spray paint matched perfectly. I couldn't even tell where I'd painted it, after it dried.-----------------------PS, The first swing I got was perfect. The second swing I got had some poorly repaired damage to the decorative back, which I didn't notice until I'd already hung it up. I did not feel like taking it all back down, to send it back (It was obviously broken in 2 places, & poorly welded, but it mostly showed on the back - which I could live with, but not at the price I paid). I called to see what my options were, & was delighted when Amazon gave me a partial refund, & didn't make me take it all back apart to send back.Thank you Amazon. : )

This swing is easy to assemble, very sturdy, and the perfect size. It is super comfortable to swing in, and is a perfect addition to our back porch. A great value!

They rust right away at the screws. The rest doesn’t. So I spray painted the screws with rust resistant paint. They’re pretty and will last longer than the wood ones we had.

I put this lovely bronze colored bench swing together by myself in about 30 minutes. I used a rubber mallet and a big screwdriver to get holes to line up when they were being difficult, but the diagram was accurate and easy to follow the steps. 4 small nut covers were missing from the provided nuts and bolts and 1 big nut cover for some reason will not go on any of the big nuts, but to me that is minor. It looks very nice and I think as long as you don't put two huge men on it at the same time, it should support the 485 lbs they say it will. It came with the chains. Now I need to go to the hardware store and get some hooks.
