The quality is good, they are sharp, and you can't beat the price! I've used these on aluminum, and they perform perfectly and hold their edge. The only complaint I have is that the markings are pretty light, and difficult to read. However, it's pretty obvious what size each bit is for.

I purchase several things on Amazon and was giving pretty in-depth reviews. From this point on, here's the new agenda…. if it works as advertised, is well made, meets or exceeds the description, is a value, and arrives in a fair amount of time, it will get a "star rating" equal to what my expectations were/are. If it doesn't meet these criteria, then I will most definitely and descriptively tell the short comings of the products and you as a consumer will not have to go through the trouble of buying the product without some background knowledge. If the sell pulls that item and relists under another description, I will put the exact same review on the seller's feedback page. Sellers have done this a couple of times in the past, and I was true to my word then as well as now. DR

does a real good job of counterboring holes

Good tools. Great for a home shop.

These counterbores are really. inexpensive for the set - a bonus if you don't really need to do a lot of work with them. I got them to inset rivets on knife scales - usually wood - and the smallest one is perfect for my smallest rivets - The grinding on these is marginal - true to size but not perfectly formed edges and the flutes have small nicks and imperfections - The pilot is (as shown) ground down after fluting the rest of the cutter - so it isn't smooth but did work ok - Cutting was smooth and easy - making clean chip free pockets in the wood without a problem - that was the critical need for my use. In hard wood, these did grab a bit - I would not try using these in a hand held drill At this price, I really can't complain - I didn't want to spend $150 for a set just to use on a few wooden projects and these did work. If I need metric counterbores for steel or aluminum, I would probably spend a bit more but these did run true and smooth.

Works well. I use these with a drill press.

Compré este juego de brocas para hacer unas perforaciones en aluminio de 1cm. Funcionan bien y se ven duraderas. Solo hay que lubricar durante el uso y trabajarlas a pocas revoluciones para no quemarlas. El envio tardó un poco pero llegó sin problemas.
