Original had 4 bolt ins. This was no problem though as it fit in fine. Only problem was original box had split and nut was missing for the stud but I had one in my saved collections. :-) It winched up the spare great after installation, just as others said its tight quarters and took a metric 13 ratcheting socket wrench to install easier.
