I spray a PH balancer on the skin first then apply the tanning products. Good solution, applies evenly and retains its color between tans. The only thing is that refrigerate after opening and/or check the shelf life. I don’t use it past 6 months of purchase. This stuff will expire and lose its color after 6 months.
