I did not buy this for use as a wig stand. I bought it for the choice of beautiful colors to display a flower crown art piece I created at a wonderful class by designer Ashley Nell Tipton. It looks great and really complements my creation. Not only do these stands come in many attractive colors but they look very classy with such nice fabric covering. I am very happy with this lovely way to display my wearable art.

I bought this item because not only did I love the color, but it’s description stated that the package included a stand, and so i thought perfect, now I don’t have to buy a stand separately. Well, there was NO STAND included. After contacting liyate about the missing stand, they have pretty much ignored my request. The description states mannequin head and stand set, along with mannequin table clamp. I watched the video Liyate had posted and the young lady in the video stated that the package came with a stand, which, by the way, was put together in the background. Since contacting Liyate, they have changed the video and of course NO STAND is in the video now. WOW!!!!!

I've been using styrofoam heads for cosplay wig styling for years, but I was struggling with ventilating a hairline on one particular wig. The hooks grab pieces of styrofoam, which fouls the lace and fibers, and overall it was difficult to work with for this kind of project. I bought one of these canvas heads in blue and it has made the task so much easier. The canvas head can be securely pinned to but the fabric surface is tight enough that the ventilating hook doesn't grab it. The weight of the head is nicely balanced and it's easier to hold than the styrofoam heads, which kept trying to slip out of my grasp. The extras are appreciated too. I've mostly used the table clamp as a storage stand when I'm not actively working on the wig but the range of tilt available will be useful when I get to the styling stage. The hooked needles have been very great for adding wefts on a different wig I'm working on, much easier than using straight sewing needles as I had been.

I design knitwear hats and blocking is critical for proper fit. I had been using styrofoam heads but they would get knocked over easily. This is exactly what I wanted. Very solid, more stable than a styrofoam head and available in the 22” size I needed. I like that I can mount it on a tripod for photographing my work. The orange color is just a bonus as it set off the knitwear well. I can also pin block lace hats on this with the T-pins provided. I’m really happy with it.This comes with a just ok clamp and some wig doodads. I can’t speak to the wig accessories since I know nothing about wigs. But as a hat blocking form, this is fantastic at the price I paid.
