Spicy but not too spicy. Good texture.
I wish I could buy this in big jars or jugs. It's so good. Shake well before use! We usually use it with chicken and soba noodles. But it's great in so many things. Add peanut sauce to your cooking and stop missing out!

Great sauce base
Great sauce as the beginning point for making cold peanut sesame noodles. Very tasty. I add to it but this makes a great base for the sauce.

This is not traditional Satay Sauce
This pours out as oil until you can get to the actual sauce, then it really has an unpleasant taste......NOTHING like a normal satay sauce. There is a much less expensive, slightly smaller sized, satay sauce on here from another brand, that though it is not great (it seems to have a seasoning in it that changes the stereotypical satay sauce flavor) but it is edible and you are definitely eating a satay sauce. This one is spicy but its not terrible in that way as the spiciness fades fairly quickly however the flavor is just not good. I am dreading finishing the first bottle, and would love to return the second bottle for half my money back, but I dont believe that that is within the return policy of Amazon so I am forced to keep this disgusting product. I am very unhappy and I have literally never given a bad review on Amazon before, but this one was worthy of it. It is true that there is a very slight peanut flavor if you concentrate really hard on finding it LoL Dont do it. Its not worth the money just to try it to see if it works for you. It may be an edible sauce but it is not a satay sauce.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Not my favorite peanut sauce. It doesn't have a strong peanut flavor. The other flavors definitely shine through. I add a table of Peanut Butter to my dish and that solves the problem for me. It is also thin, but the added peanut butter solves that problem. I prefer the other national brand. It tastes more like the peanut sauce you get at a Thai restaurant.

Love this sauce
It came in its own bottle sized bubble wrap. No worries about getting broken. However, the use by date was less than 2 months. Which is OK. But would like a date further in the future.

I added some sugar before serving but the consistency is perfect and pairs deliciously with my fresh spring rolls!
