I was introduced to this lotion in 2008/2009 when I went to FaceLogic in Las Vegas (I had won a free facial in a contest). During one part of the facial, the tech massaged my shoulders, arms, and hands with a delightful lotion – which turned out to be this one. And, I bought it that day (picture is from one of my 2009 visits). This was back when this lotion came in a metal container. As I have sensitive skin, it was a treat to find something soothing, calming, and moisturizing. It literally calmed my skin down. And, that huge 18fl oz bottle lasted a long time (well over 3-4 months), considering I paid $25 for it back in 2008/2009 (and surprisingly, the price hasn’t increased in the past 10 years). So, it has remained a decent value. The scent, for me, wasn’t overwhelming so that someone could smell me across the room, but it was noticeable so I could detect it. I used it more for a bedtime routine as a result since I found scent quite relaxing. I slept a lot better after using it on my hands, arms, neck, and shoulders. According to the description, it has “subtle green fragrance notes of soy and rice, with the slightest hint of vanilla” – I found it smelled more like shea, milk, and soy. And, even though I wasn’t into the no “paraben, sulfate, or gluten” at the time, it is nice to know this has none of those in it. I would usually get the lotion at the facial place every so often. So I was pleasantly surprised to find it here on Amazon for the same price as it would get it at the facial salon, and that also saves gas money. It is STILL the same lotion formula I remember, even 10 years later. The quality has not changed. The texture is thicker than most brand lotions found in supermarkets, but not like a paste. It easily absorbs into the skin and I only need a few small pumps. For my hands? Barely two pumps. I have not found a comparable lotion on the market at all. Nothing has come close to this lotion and I have tried a lot since I was a teenager (over 25+ years ago). I’m not sure how I feel about the switch from the metal container to plastic though or the reasoning for it, maybe it was something to do with transportation costs or the product quality reduction/degradation over time. I didn’t store it for more than 6 months so I can’t accurately rate that. I will say that as the metal container got empty, I would store it upside down so the lotion slid out, and it slid out quite easily. No product waste – I got every bit of lotion in the container. I’ll be curious to see how this container holds up with that practice as it nears the end … though likely not for a while.

My daughter had this cream when I was visiting Denver from North Carolina. I especially like it on my feet and legs. The smell is very light and it goes on so smooth. It feels good it is worth the price
