It works
Not thrilled with the fit and over less than a year is becomes oversized and has to be either replaced or you have to fight to squeeze the excess into the canister. Even with the proper lube it still distorts the o-ring. Still much cheaper than the local supply houses or even the wholesales I buy my chemicals from.

A tad thicker than the old one, but maybe it's supposed to be
My pool filter (Waterway DE) - had a stretched o-ring and it was always a pain to get it to fit in when putting the top on, this one was the right diameter and a little thicker which did make it hard to put the cover on, but it doesn't leak.
