There are 2 sweetened tunings specifically for dobro, and if you don't want a sweetened tuning you just select the standard (equal temperament) tuning. It just shows you what note you are closest to regardless of how you have your dobro tuned. I used the USB interface to remove all tunings except equal, so I don't have to worry about getting it in a funny mode by fat-fingering the tiny buttons that are all jammed up next to each other (still a sore point with me!). **Q: Can this be used to tune a diatonic harmonica?** A: The clip tuner responds to vibration, so if think you can actually hold a steady note on a harmonica the tuner will read it... the challenge for you will be reading it while it’s clipped on the harmonica.
