Can’t go wrong with the Friedman products. I have long hair and between the spray and mousse it holds curls even in humidity for me. Used for years. Not the really soft hair spray for those that want that. But for my hair they never hold all day at all. And the mouse isn’t sticky.

I love this mousse!! It adds a lot of thickness to my thin hair. It doesn’t leave any residue in my hair either. It makes my curls stay much longer in my hair and gives me so much more volume all around.

This is a very good mousse... Smells great and does not dry out your hair.

I ordered the 3 can bundle but one can was defective and the push bottom broke immediately and it isn’t useable now!

I have always had to wash my curly hair daily. After a night in bed, my very fine, thinning, naturally graying, 74-year-old head of curly hair is a flat, frizzy, dry, impossible mess. Nothing but another washing will revitalize my curly hair. Visiting my daughter in August, instead of my usual leave-in styling cream, I applied her JOHN FRIEDA'S VOLUME LIFT AIR-WHIPPED FOAM after washing my hair, occasionally scrunching my curls as they dried. I used a pick to style my hair and a tiny more Foam to lightly "set" my do. At bedtime, my hair still looking great, I put on my hair bonnet, before putting on my cumbersome, hair-destroying nasal CPAP mask (to combat my sleep apnea). In the morning, I couldn't believe the state of my hair. The curls were intact, and there was no frizz. I showered without washing my hair and used just a little more Foam to lightly freshen my hair. Like the photo above*--I had defined, vibrant, soft curls! I am so in love with this styling mousse that while traveling to a wedding in North Carolina last month (using a carryon, so unable to pack my 7 oz. John Frieda Foam), the first thing I did was to locate a store where I could buy my now-favorite hair product. I now go 2 or 3 days in a row without having to wash my hair. Yes, my bonnet is a help, but I had NEVER been able to get away without a daily wash. I fly out of state to my daughter's home for Thanksgiving. But this week, I am sending JOHN FRIEDA'S VOLUME LIFT AIR-WHIPPED FOAM to her via Amazon, so I'm certain we don't run out. *photo taken at 4pm today; I last washed my hair yesterday morning!

I have been using "John Frieda Collection Luxurious Volume Perfectly Full Mousse" for many years on my fine, long hair. It is the absolute best! I was concerned when I discovered that this product was being replaced by "Volume Lift", with a different label and presumably different ingredients. I ordered from Online Prime Brands because it listed the old product, the one I trusted, and I was disheartened when I discovered that they had sent the new product instead without notice. However, I am pleased to say that it is essentially the same product - just as much lift, same scent, consistency, and effect. I am over the moon that this has not resulted in a loss of quality. The ingredients are essentially the same (slightly rearranged, indicating differences in quantity), but no noticeable difference other than a name change and cover design. Keep up the good work, John Frieda, and thanks for not downgrading your product! So if you past devotees of the older version were wondering, here's one reviewer to reassure you.
