Is this the old 2 inch handle or new 3 inch handle length?

Omnivos is in the process of switching the Otto 128 to a 3” / 7.6cm handle. At the time I am writing this (Sep 6, 2022) the change from 2” to 3” is almost complete and there are only a few of the 2” handles available for sale. You can order directly from our website to ensure that you receive the 3” handle. By Oct 2022 all 128’s should be 3” handles at Amazon. Sorry for the uncertainty, Amazon has not given easy way for us to easily differentiate this for you.

I see medical grade tuning forks for about 1/4 the price. Can you explain why your is more costly?

There is no such thing as medical grade tuning forks. That is a made up term by other manufacturers to add authenticity to their products. True, doctors do use tuning forks but there is no "standard" for the medical or scientific community.

If you are looking for purity of aluminum without possibly toxic metals then the industry standard is the Reynolds Aluminum Engineering Study which all reputable manufacturer's adhere by. Unfortunately there are companies from Asia who claim to follow to the Reynolds standard but do not. Omnivos does follow those standards and for that that reason many doctors will choose our tuning forks.

Consider this, the manufacturers you are referring to manage to make a "high quality" product and ship it to the US all for 1/4 the price as the US manufacturers.

How do you use or where do you place the Ohm weighted tuning fork and the Otto 128 on the body at the same time? What are the benefits?

Instructions/how to use the 128
For using the 128 Tuners with bones and ligament, hold the forks by the stem and gently tap them on your knee. With the finger or thumb of your free hand locate the spot on the body where you want to place the tuning fork. Press the end of the stem of the tuning fork onto the spot. Make a firm contact and hold the tuning fork until you feel the vibrations stop.
For listening, hold the 128 Otto Tuner by the stem and gently tap the weights on your knees or tapping pad. Bring the tuning fork(s) to your ears and adjust the distance by tone. Hold one fork about an inch from your left ear and one an inch from to the right ear. This creates a long sustained pitch. This works well with the 128 Otto.  When tapping the 128 gently tap the body (the weighted portion) of the tuning fork on your palm. This will set the weights in motion and create a pure tone.

How often in a day and how much is it recommended to use this?

Hello, the person who responded is partially correct. The 128hz promotes the release of nitric oxide in the blood which helps to reduce inflammation. That in turn leads to a healthier body. There is no point in using the tuning fork on the same spot more than once or twice because the nitric oxide has been activated. You can certainty place it on the same spot later say after 20-30 minutes if you working on something specific like arthritis.  Definitely stay away from breaks, fractures or recent surgery mainly because the vibration can be painful in that area but you can use the fork elsewhere to promote healthy blood flow to that area.

There is no harm to using tuning forks more than once a day. I usually recommend 2-3 times a day if there is something specific you are addressing. The most important thing is to be consistent. The best results come when you stay on a steady schedule. Results may come quickly or may take months.
