That made it pretty hard to hold your breath. I didn't go under a couple feet because of how uncomfortable that was. It also leaked very little from the top of the head. There was a one way valve at the bottom which got rid of water that came in but this made it pretty inconvenient still because your head had to be straight up and down to blow the water out. We were using these in Hawaii so the saltwater burned the eyes when the water got in. Overall these were okay but I am hoping to find something perfect because I love going out snorkeling and don't want to have to deal with this each time. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Better than I expected!!! *by A***N on Reviewed in the United States on July 27, 2017* I purchased two of these one for myself and one for a friend to use while we scalloped her in FL. These things were GREAT!! Gave me less pressure on the face (the normal masks give me bad headaches which is main reason for trying the full face mask) it does take a few minutes of underwater action to get use to but once you're acclimated it really is way better than the normal masks. I add we were also diving down anywhere from 4-6 feet down and no issues! Only time water got into the mask was when I touched/moved it. If you're on the fence... Definitely go with this one. It's a much better way to snorkel than to have a big piece of rubber between your teeth.
