Perfect for extension cords and hoses
I remember when these were at the hardware store for a dollar a piece until they became popular. These allow me to easily select any extension cord I need and I get to hang them up easily for better space management. They make perfect gifts. Nobody has ever regifted or complained about receiving them.

Solid clips for light duty work
You're not going to hang a lot of weight on them or anything, but if you're looking for some basic cord organization, this item is a good option. I ended up hanging all of mine on the wall via hanging hooks on a track eventually, but had these as an interim solution. Still use them for miscellaneous items that need to be wrapped up to stay put.The lanyard hook is pretty worthless because the loop on it is barely big enough to fit over most nail/screw heads, and even when it does you still have the issue of the device itself being too big to distance itself from the wall. Makes hanging cords and hoses less than ideal. My main issue is that the way you'd (or perhaps just "I'd") want cords to hand without using the lanyard (parallel to the wall) is pretty much impossible because they have to hang perpendicular to the latching mechanism's opening. It means that your cords don't lay flat agains the wall. Those are just a couple of gripes but don't let them dissuade you from buying necessarily. Just a few things to keep in mind. Still a great option for the price and useful across the board.

Ratchet arm protected within the clip
I bought some of the Gardner-Bender red and black style clips with a T-Grip style handle. The ratchet arm would always break when I tossed my cords into my truck bed. The ratchet arm on these goes into the handle, and the handle is substantial. The mediums are perfect for 25" 14AWG extension cords.

Helps organize
Have several extension cords and these clips work great to keep them organized and, more importantly, untangled. High recommend

Awesome!
These cable clamps are so handy! I use them in my garage all the time. I put them on extension cords or air lines or anything I need wound up. They are super easy to operate and have hooks to hang from. The uses are endless for these things!

Super for cords and hoses, free or attached to equipment
I use these for extension cords and compressor hoses. They're simple to open and close and ratchet for the degree of tightness needed. I have several tools (portable air filter, compressor) where they've been surprisingly handy for attaching hoses/cords to built in-handles on the tools. That's worked better than the velcro and other ties I've used before that. In terms of storing multiple cords/hoses, etc. I think it might work to mount a supported dowel of the right diameter to the wall or ceiling at a reachable height, then hang the hooked handle of multiple cuffs and their contents over the dowel, like hangers on the rod in a closet. Would love to see a photo of anyone doing that and see if the idea is worthy.

Love these Cable Cuffs, nice assortment.
These cable cuffs are great. Such an easy way to keep extension cords neat and contained. Ditto for some hoses and other items that can be coiled up. Will buy more as you always need a few extra.
