Will this fix a crack on a heating oil tank?

I used it to repair a corroded sump on a diesel engine in my van 2 1/2 years and 2 mot's later it is still holding . If you clean the crack and degrease it and rough up the area I don't see why it should not work. I assume the tank is metal and not plastic .

Hi thereI used J B weld on a metal diesel tank after cleaning area of all traces of fuel and warmed the tank with a hair dryer before applying the putty. All worked well. You might want to roughen the plastic around repair area with a coarse file to get a good bond as smooth plastic might prove tricky. All the best.

Will this work on diesel fuel pipes on a car ?

I don't know the answer but with diesel being a fine oil it creates a film on the surface of metals and plastics making it difficult to get repair substances to adhere. Hope that this helps.

Have a air conditioning core with pin hole leak, might this work on copper pipe?

I have used this successfully on steel that is subject to vibration and heat changes, if the copper core is subject to heat then I don't see a problem but am not sure how it will react to lower temperature such as experienced on the cooling side of air conditioning .
