A great value, works perfectly for me
Gives me 2 more usb jacks from my cigar lighter and as well as powering my Garmin GPS diaplay.

Works for our Garmin
We still have an older car and so still use our old Garmin Nuvi for navigation. The original cord on it finally broke at the end near the connector so we went looking for a replacement. Found this and it works as intended. It operates the Garmin and the USB port will charge a phone. It has a little light on it that kind of bugs me a bit when driving at night but it’s easy enough to hide so no big deal.

I didn’t like the fact that it’s still not charging my gps, it charge it for a week then it quit working

Works well with my Garmin GPS
Great replacement for a power cord that was shorting out. Perfect fit. My Garmin is several years old and I have used it all over the United States and for several years in Europe, traveling throughout Germany, Italy and Switzerland -- with additional maps loaded. Expect to be using it soon again as I am heading back to Italy for another new position. Happy travels!

IT WORKS!!!
After many missteps trying to find something to charge my Garmin Drive Smart 61, I gave this a try and it works just fine. The 90 degree angle no longer interferes with my dashboard mount - which, I am convinced, destroyed my original cord. It won't give traffic, but my original DriveSmart cord didn't either. I get better traffic conditions by pairing it with my phone - which I can also charge with this device. It doesn't enter into data transfer mode every time I plug it in, and the display is not dim like data cords tend to produce. I can't vouch for its durability because I've only had it for a couple of weeks but, so far so good.

Now I can power my Garmin GPS and two more devices from one 12-volt outlet
I wanted to increase the number of USB power outlets in my truck. I settled on this unit, and it does the job just fine. I plug it into a 12-volt socket, and it provides a dedicated (and properly configured—I found out this is critical) power cable to the Garmin GPS. Then, two USB-A power outlets are available on the exposed end of the device. Plenty of, and the right kind of power for three devices!

Great for a few months until the power cable failed
The charge cable worked great for about four months. Then it would only work with the feed cable bent at a 90 degree angle coming out of the 12v power connector. It has now died completely. I'm going to have to order another one because I have no idea how to return the one I purchased months ago.
