I never realized how much I needed this little tool! I rarely write reviews, but this is such a small yet useful item that I felt compelled to share my thoughts. Here are the highlights: **Size:** It's just the right size, making it easy to hold and use. The instructions for measuring circumference are conveniently located on the handle, and there’s a button on the other side for retracting the tape. **Lock Feature/Retractability:** The lock feature works well, and the tape retracts smoothly. **Flexibility/Readability:** Everything is clear and easy to read, with no complaints at all.Flexibility/Readability: All good, no complaints.

Works really well and is easy to use

This is so handy! It is well-made and an innovative way to allow for self measurements that are accurate. I bought this and the regular Perfect Measuring Tape Co. All Purpose 60 Inch Double Sided Tape. Both are great. I'm trying to upgrade my wardrobe, to wearing more [full] suits or "odd" suits (suit separates). This helps me know what to look for. Even more if and when I can upgrade to bespoke. Though I think it gave me the wrong waist measurements. I'm not that big. Maybe I need to try again!😏 Above all, was actually their great customer service! As I was looking for a good tailor's measuring tape, I came across their website and asked for advice. I received a quick reply which led me here. Thank you!

This is a solid body tape measure that works exactly as intended. The auto-retract function is smooth, and it’s easy to get consistent, one-handed measurements for waist, arms, hips, and more. 🔧 My only complaint: The clip side doesn’t stay in securely. It tends to fall out too easily, which can be frustrating when trying to measure solo. Adding a small magnet or stronger snap mechanism would make a big difference and improve the user experience. ✅ Pros: Accurate and easy to use Auto-retracts cleanly Great for solo tracking of body measurements ❌ Cons: Clip side falls out easily; a magnet or stronger latch would help 🧾 Bottom Line: Overall, it’s a very useful tool, especially for fitness tracking. Just wish the clip held better—then it’d be perfect. Still recommend it.

It is by far the easiest body measuring tape I have ever used. I literally bought this and two other reel tapes at the same time to keep around the house. I have not used or rated the other ones. This is the BOMB! I can't imagine wanting to use anything else to measure myself. Every time the tension is the same. It tightens itself so you can focus on the alignment. There are multiple ways to read it. I highly recommend you buy this.

Works almost effortlessly

Arrived as advertised. No damages. Compact for storage. The concept is good but the mechanism doesn’t always lock. When you are at your measurement and take it off to look at it readjust, sometimes up to an inch. I’ve been using it as a regular measuring tape for a more accurate reading.

Nice retractable feature. Does the job.

Product is OK. But first look is not good. Regular plastic material,fixing average. Sturdiness like other normal plastic item. Fulfilling the need but seems much overcharged for the quality provided.
