To detach the clip - just push the tab down and it pops a loose really easily. Don't try to pull or push the tab. Put the loop if the mask into the clip and push up to attach it - it works well, but I have to wear it on my neck (not the back of my head, because of my hair style) nand after a few hours, it starts to irritate my neck a little - gets a little itchy - but it does spare my ears for masks that have hard elastic loops. Works great for trips to the store for a couple hours. For work 8 hrs a day is a bit too much for me.

My husband had struggled with the comfort of wearing masks but was committed to wearing them when it made sense. These gadgets helped immensely with comfort.

The best thing is that you can attach out to the mask and it stays on. I end up using it like a strap so I can wear the mask or take it off and have it around my neck (like spectacles chain.) Unlike the silicone straps I bought you don't need to reattach etc. The straps are adjustable. Longer hair will prob need to be pulled on top of the straps. One problem I had was the attachment clip fell off. But, you can still "lock" the mask strap. You just have to check it and be careful. Or just throw it away as have 10x in a pack. I'd buy it again.

Another COVID necessity buy. My ears were getting murdered by those blue hospital masks, so I tried the KN95 and my ears were like - Nah man nah. So I found these behind the neck strap extenders and they were great. I have a size 18 1/2 inch neck and was worried it would pinch or not be stretchy enough. No worries. These don't pinch. They're easy to take on and off - either over your head real quick or just from the side undo the strap. They don't ride up my neck when I'm at work in person.Not sure they have saved my life, but they have definitely saved my ears!

These work very well in extending a mask to make it fit your head I had one employee I had wearing a mask my meal time her ears were bent a roll of time I gave her these and they're not doing that now it's more comfortable for her onion system nest being worenThese are easy to use I can't believe the simplicity of them I can't believe that they made something like this and we didn't know most people do not know about it and they won't wear a mask because of it but these are great to have thank you for the good price Amazon

These may have been a good idea at the beginning of the pandemic but it’s not now! It’s a nope don’t buy.

I have weirdly sensitive cartilage in my ears, so I can't have anything sitting on my ears for extended periods of time or my ears will ACHE so bad. These are such a life saver. I bought some plastic ones back at the beginning of the pandemic, but they made my neck sweat, picked up the dye from my hair, warped with the cold/heat, and seemed to store oil until they warmed up 😳🤢. These are so much better than the plastic ones. They are much more adjustable and comfortable. My ONLY complaint is that I almost wish the shortest setting was shorter. I have to tie a knot in my mask loops, and then twist them multiples times still to get them to stay on my face (part of this is the mask has longer straps but still). Great product though!
