The media could not be loaded.  **UPDATE**Just visited with a neighbor who owns 3d printers, cnc and engravers for their business - he wanted to catch up and "talk shop" about printing when the subject of this Laser engraver came up.We fired it up with a complex image and he was absolutely blown away with the performance of this thing - the detail from the Totem S rivals his $6,000 professional engraver - obviously not going to etch as quick as a $6,000 machine but as far as detail and performance, he was very impressed.Its hard to argue against this engraver for $300, frankly, its a steal for the performance you get for the price.-----------------------------I am super impressed with the quality of Laser they used on this rig, the components are high quality and assembly was very straight forward. The only hiccup I ran into was with the software they recommend to use.Had issues getting RBGL installed - I was finally able to get it to install properly by running it directly off the SD card that comes in the package- don't attempt to copy the compressed file to your disc and extract it, it needs to be ran from the stick.Once you have it installed, update the GBRL version when prompted.With RBGL installed, it was super easy to get started - I grabbed the first image I found on the web (full color) and it converted it automatically for the engraver. After adjusting the detail resolution setting a little bit, I hit "send to machine" and it worked perfectly.My expectations have been exceeded with this machine, its exactly what we need to do custom engraving.When you buy this machine, I'd recommend to have some test scraps available to test and calibrate itSuper happy with my decision - will purchase more as we scale up

So far everything is going pretty great. The instructions are a little vague, best to watch videos to assist assembly, though it all does come together nicely when done.my only gripe so far, and I may just be unaware of a fix, but the specifications in the description, and in the manual, all state there is a 300mm by 300mm working area, however when you use the configuration file provided for the LaserGRBL program, it limits it to 200mm by 200mm.Is there a fix for this? This machine won out over others I was looking at because of the huge working area, now I feel a little ripped off.

The media could not be loaded.  I Purchased the TwoTrees Totem-S from Amazon after seeing the results achieved at a relatives house. Below is my review based broken out. All in all I am extremely happy with my purchase and results I am achieving from this printer. Pictures shows some of the things I have done in the short time I have had it. I will update my review as time goes on.Packaging:The Totem-S was well packed. No issues with delivery or packaging. One screw and nut was in the box but was easily figured out.AssemblyThe laser engraver was easy to assemble. The instructions were easy to follow and there are even some videos on YouTube that will show you step by step if your are more of a follow-along type individual. I will say that some of the assembly, although easy to understand it is difficult to do with one person. If I have any recommendations for building it would be to have a friend handy. This would make the process a lot easier.UseComing from someone who knows a lot about 3D printing, there is a little bit of a learning curve when it comes to using the engraver. Once you grasp the concept the engraver is very easy to use.SoftwareThe provided software is easy to use and understand but is very limited. I elected to use LightBurn. After watching a few lightburn how-to videos lightburn was my goto app for all burning. The only issue with using Lighburn was the lack of firing the laser when trying to frame your piece. This was easily resolved by holding down the shift key then clicking return to turn on the laser.Conclusion:I am very pleased with my purchase. The end results outperform higher Laser engravers from the results I've seen. The machine is low profile and very easy to use. I would not say if you are a beginner and you don't mind learning then it is a great machine to both learn and get fantastic results.

L9ve the laser and the quality. But it etches very slow. Simple 1x1 pic took 3 hours. 3x4 took 4 hours and nearly 1/2 way done. I ve changed all settings and still slow. Won't burn thru unless it's a photo. Simple text from Lightburn won't etch good. Laser was set at the height and on 100%.I'm sure I'm doing something wrong. Any suggestions please leave a comment if you can

I can’t used I don’t know how to use I’m wan crying cuz I lost my money can’t get connecting to my Mac and try my Hp to is doesn’t work

This was a pain to assemble. I’m pretty handy with tools and construction so I got it. But someone who does not will struggle. A LOT. Does even well built and sturdy!Burns wood, faux leather, fine. Very slow. I would suggest buying bigger unless your inky going to use it 3-4 times a year.

The media could not be loaded.  Totem S needs to be assembled, there is a manual and a really useful video included on the USB.It takes me around 20 minutes to complete the assembly and finish all the adjustments, and about 25 minutes to figure out how to install the laser software and start using it with the examples included.This laser engraver must be good for beginners, you need to have in mind that it is a small laser engraver perfect for hobbies or small jobs. The simplicity of the design makes it easy to understand the operation, especially if this is your first laser machine. The construction materials feel good quality, and the price is really good for what you get.You must take some time to understand the software, and play around with the engraving and cutting settings for each material, but with a few tries you must have a good resultImportant note: the blue laser only works for non translucent materials.

Tengo unos meses que compre esta maquina y es fecha que no puedo echarla a jalar, se detiene a la mitad del proceso y no he encontrado el por que del problema.

Assembly instructions were very poor and software supplied didn’t work. After 3 emails to Twotrees they sent another download of software but this also didn’t work. I had to downloaded alternative software from internet to get unit to operate. Not happy.
