See, copying everyone else is saying you think they placed the tile 100% efficiently. Everyone thinks differently so everyone will make slightly different choices. Then, once you have a few tiles that are different the whole way you play the tiles will vary greatly from other players. Plus you have to trash a tile to move and people will trash tiles others will use. Someone would have to be a straight up jerk to just copy others plays. : **Q: Did you get the English version? They sent me the German version.** A: Yes...I received the English version. It has a multi-language rule book. **Q: What determines which tile gets placed? 1-36... roll a d36? Take turns choosing?** A: all players except the lead player (who remains the lead through out the game), organizes their tiles face up so they can see the numbers. The lead player has their tiles face down and mixed. The lead player will choose a tile and call out the number. All played take the tile with that number and places it on their board following basic placement rules. Enjoy ! Since each board is independent and how you build your paths is all in how you want to try to get your explorers to the temples it scales well with two people. In fact the first time I played it was at a friends house with two people. Soon as I played it I came homeAnd ordered it on amazon. Teaches easy for new people and plays in 45ish minutes. My wife and I will play some times when the kids are in school. It is easily one of our favorites.
