Does this work on a dark water mark? I wiped down my phone and set it down on my table and now there is an outline of my phone on the table.

To be truthful I've never tried a dark water mark so can't say. For the price it's worth a shot. It did do an excellent job on my white water ring.

Water mark on old dresser (oil or laquer?); wood is golden wood color. Stain is white - how can it put color back into the whitish ring?

it's possible your old dresser has been shellacked, which is alcohol based. Suggestion would be to hover some hand sanitizer on a cloth cose to the stain but not toughing. If the white stain reacts, you should look up shelack resore on you tube.

What do I get to remove water stains from my plant on my marble table?

Marble is a pourous stone, and the water stains will have to be polished out of the marble. Perhaps polishing compound, jewelers rouge, automobile rubbing compound, something like that would work.

Is this product good to use?

This cloth didn't work as described. I tried to remove a water spot from a very dark stained end table. I followed their instructions several times, and it FAILED.
