The included Pentax instructions in the lens box clearly states that the PH-RBC62mm lens hood is provided and it shows how to install it on the lens. It appears that the provided Pentax lens hood was removed from the lens box before it was shipped. Not good. I will return it. **Q: How does this lens do for shooting sporting events? I would be using on a Pentax K30.** A: Too short a tele range for sports I would say. I use it for a walk around/travel lens.
