Perfect for Detached Metal Barns
I’ve bought a few pairs of these now to install on my own metal barn and family members barns. You can get WiFi from your home and into your barn very easily. Creates great range and is super effective! Would 100% recommend if you are trying to get WiFi into tough to reach places.

Great connectivity
This works great for extending my wireless signal to a dock 300ft from my house for 4 security cameras. It easily handles 20-30MB/sec for those cameras with plenty of capacity left-over. I've been running this for over a year and have no complaints. AirOS is robust with graphs and lots of advanced functionality for those who need it(in other words, this isn't a dumb 'black box' unit-- you can tweak it!). I wish Ubiquiti's other products ran this awesome AirOS instead of their Unifi abstraction...

Excellent Customer Service
I purchased these to link my house to my barn about 100 yards away. They were simple to install for those with some basic network skills. I configured them as a transparent bridge with the near end set to AP mode and the other far end in station mode. They are protected using Eth-SP-g2 surge protectors. I now get full bandwidth access (300Mb) to my Barn from my home internet ISP. I did have one problem about a month after install the AP Nano Station network interface failed. Not certain what happened. I left town for a week and when I returned my link was down. I contacted Amazon and they put me contact with the Vendors Customer support. Within minutes of my initial call to Amazon I was on a support call with Michael from the SFP store. He asked a few questions about my problem and my diagnostic testing then sent out a new Nano Station. I called on Saturday the new unit arrived on Tuesday. I installed it and configured it and was up and running again in an hour. I highly recommend both this product and the vendor. The SFP store provided outstanding customer service and I’ve always had great luck with Ubiquiti equipment. It’s high quality, easy to install and configure and very fairly priced. Having retired after 30 years in IT there is nothing I hate more than wasting my time on home networking problems.

Works great to extend signal to Barn
The Orbi wifi6 system (853) just doesn't cover much area and drops signals pretty frequently. I use this to extend the signal to a barn and hardwire the orbi satellite to it. Now the signal in the barn is perfect!

Stopped working after 4 weeks
First off the setup is complicated, but that’s not the issue. Your best bet to pair these units is to watch a YouTube video because the included instructions aren’t great. Once setup the wireless bridge worked great transmitting internet signal between my home and barn 200’ away. My issue is that the unit just stopped working after a month. It’s a major annoyance because these units are mounted 2 stories up and require setting up an extension ladder to get to them. Long story short I checked my installation, rebooted everything and still no dice. I ended up buying the UeeVii CPE450 which was $60 cheaper and already came paired right out of the box. Truly plug and play.. I’m getting the same internet speeds out of the UeeVii CPE450 as I was getting from the NSM5. Time will tell if these hold up, but I’m not messing with Ubiquity. They have zero customer service.

Worked very well for me at about 500 feet
The interface took a little bit to get used to, but I wasn't familiar with Ubiquiti. There are plenty of tutorials online. Once I got it connected, it seemed to work great. The connection has stayed up for a few weeks now. We shall see. I really didn't have to be all that exact lining them up. I was on a ladder and pointed them both in the general direction of the other. I'm happy with them so far!

Did not provide additional range over regular access point
I bought these to establish a second network location about 250 feet from my house. These did not provide any additional range over the access point located in the house. Think of these as a range extender with a RJ45 to plug into a wired access point. The device itself can also be an access point. The directionality of the antenna did not provide any gain in range.

Very trusted name in long-range wireless links
I have used many Ubiquiti radios over the years and have had very few problems. The radios are easy to setup and offer various usage options depending on what is needed. I installed some of these as long ago as 2012 that are still up and running as good as new to this day.

These require some set up, which information is available on YouTube. They are not for beginners, but a curious person can learn how to set them up with some instructional videos. They have been running for more than a year without any downtime. I am really happy with the unifi products. I used these to create a wireless bridge from my house to the shop about 200 feet away.

Livraison rapide, en bon état. Malgré plein de vidéos et après avoir suivi les instructions à la lettre, toujours pas capable de l’installer. Il vous faut un expert.
