They work on induction, imagine that, and they're still ticking, so I have a lot of confidence in the Brazil line. There is one thing, however I did do, which was take a Brillo pad and a little Bar Keepers friend to the bottom just to make sure it is very smooth and won't scratch my glass cook top stove. Like I said, these pans are a joy to cook on. It is very stable. Do not have the 8'' **Q: The only difference between the "Professional Fusion" and the red handle "Professional" line is the rivets on the inside?** A: The professional fusion does not have the river heads on the inside of the pan. **Q: Does it bow in the middle and therefore create a hotspot after being used for a while?** A: I have not noticed that after using it for the past six weeks - still seems to heat evenly across the surface. **Q: Is this pan induction compatible?** A: The Tramontina Fusion Fry Pan #80114/515DS is not induction compatible, but works great on gas, electric and ceramic glass cooktops.
