This laptop/tablet stand is a great buy at the price. It's compact, lightweight and easily transportable. In use it's sturdy and reliable.The stand is well designed and the build quality is very good. There are three non-slip silicone pads fitted on either side, two on the uprights and one on the curved cradle. These pads both cushion the tablet or laptop and prevent slipping. They work very well.I use the stand for both my 11" tablet and my 13.3" laptop. It works equally well with both of them.I did not expect the laptop stand to be as good as it is at this price point. I recommend this as a great buy. AAA+

Normally, I work on a desktop machine, with large monitors held at the right height by those clamping monitor stands. I'm a bit of a zealot about monitor height, in fact. But every now and then - and particularly when away - I work on a laptop.So I looked to get a laptop stand that would hopefully raise the screen to a sensible working height, and be able to fold away and fit in my laptop bag. I wasn't expecting to find anything, actually - but I found this on a Lightning Deal. I suspect I wouldn't have bought it at full price, but actually, it's probably worth it having actually tried it out.The stand itself folds tiny, and all contact points (or potential contact points) with the laptop and the ground are rubber feet firmly attached to the aluminium frame. It's a little fiddly to put up, but really not that tricky. The blurb says the aluminium build means it'll help cooling - this I doubt, as the rubber feet will insulate it nicely, and there's so little contact with the laptop that the fans will have maximum airflow anyway. Mostly, the aluminium construction helps with the weight, I think.I don't type on the laptop when using this - I have a bluetooth keyboard and mouse I use - but it seems stable enough that typing might be OK. My laptop is a 15" Dell XPS 2-in-1, so not small, and it's touchscreen - which i tend to use - and despite all that the laptop is well supported on the stand, and doesn't wobble when I hit the fingerprint sensor or prod the screen. The stand itself seems rock solid, my concern would be that violent typing might knock the laptop off, not collapse the stand - but experimental prodding of the keyboard doesn't look like normal typing would hurt. So 5 stars for sturdiness, since it comfortably exceeds my expectations here.That said, I'd use an external keyboard because the laptop keyboard is going to be on quite a slope anyway.The height, on the highest setting, is still low when placed on a normal desk. But it's not so bad on a kitchen table, and it's so much better than using the laptop on its own that I'll give it four stars overall for ergonomics.It weighs next to nothing, and folds up so small it'll just slip into the laptop bag without any worries at all, so perfect on that front. The little carry-case is comes with would be ideal to avoid scratching the laptop in more traditional laptop bags; I've one of those vast backpacks so it's probably not needed.Overall, this was my best accessory buy of Prime Day - I can see myself using this a lot.

It does exactly what it says and seems quite sturdy

I’d previously tried one of the stands that unfold ‘Z’ shaped only to find that no matter how tight I cranked the bolts it wouldn’t hold the weight of my laptop despite the advertised capacity. This of course lead to the stand sinking before toppling over. Probably fine for an iPad or small laptop but definitely not up to holding a 16” machine.This stand, at barely more than 1/4 the price is simple and reliable by design. As a result it folds away neatly to a compact size with a handy little soft bag so it won’t scratch your precious and pricey laptop in transit. Most importantly though it is stable without any possibility of sinking/movement when in use.Definitely recommend this over the much numerous comparatively expensive options out there.

Very light, but seems well made and strong. Its nice that it folds up small and has a little storage pouch for when not in use.

Third time I have bought the same product. The laptop stand is very sturdy and you can adjust the position to your suit your needs.Cannot fault Boyata products.

The Boyata Laptop Stand is fairly lightweight and portable, making it easy to carry around when I need to work from different locations. It easily folds flat, which is convenient for storage and transportation. While primarily designed for laptops, I've also used this stand with my tablet and it works well. However, it may not be suitable for larger laptops or gaming laptops due to size limitations.
