Paegan Terrorism Tactics Remastered

I was so excited to hear this album on vinyl, as it is one of my all-time favorite metal albums. Unfortunately, something is wrong with this pressing. It just sounds awful. I'm no audiophile, but I know something is wrong here. I tried going back and forth between the vinyl and the MP3s, and the digital version sounded much, much better. A fellow reviewer on discogs noted the same problem with this release. Definitely a bummer, but be careful with this one.

Great album but, really poor vinyl release.Just like When the Kite String Pop's vinyl, the audio quality is sub par when compared to other formats.Great collectors item but, I can't recommend for listening. Grab yourself a copy of the CD if you haven't already.

Fantastic album. The quality of the remaster is great, but I like to sometimes listen to the original audio as well so it's too bad the record label keeps pulling it from Youtube.

This came super fast and it came still sealed. That was unexpected by me because I purchased it used. I'm happy with the condition of the case as well. Flawless! Awesome cd if your into gothic, and doom metal. Great addition to any metal heads cd collection.

Just got this in and am spinning it for the first time. I don't understand the 1 star review at all. To me this sounds fantastic and I am aware of the 'loudness wars' and find over compression to be a real problem with some recordings. Not hear, to my ears anyways.

È sicuramente un album che non può mancare per un fan della band. L'ho preso come regalo ad un amico, tuttavia il prezzo lo trovo un po' altino (quasi 17 euro) per essere una standard edition, soprattutto se si considera il seguito della band. La confezione è la classica in plastica con il libretto all'interno che fa da copertina. Il pacco di spedizione adeguato.

The cover has some damage, but so far it plays. I'm just am so happy I finally have a copy if this record on vinyl. This, and When the Kite String Pops are two of my favorite albums. It's so wonderful to finally be able to listen to it on my turntable.

Pretty disappointing...the quality on When the Kite String Pops vinyl is better than with this pressing, feels like they needed to do some serious tweaking to the upper frequencies before committing this to vinyl. Still listenable, but the quality is nowhere near as good as other modern pressings (even the other Acid Bath one!)

This album is one of my favourites and I've been a huge Dax Riggs for ages, so I decided to buy the vinyl. I loved the CD mix and have played it a countless number of times throughout my life, so I was familiar with the songs, the mix and the music. Since I've been into vinyl for a while, I decided this album was a MUST have. When I received it I immediately listened to it, totally excited to get right into the atmosphere of the tunes I was so familiar with.However, what ended up happening was the first song began and I immediately noticed how completely terrible the mix of the vinyl version of this record was. I decided to give the whole first side a shot and see if it was just one song, or me expecting too much, but the rest of the side sounded SOOO BAD. Lost was the atmosphere that this album produced in CD format. The vinyl mix was completely imbalanced, with the vocals too high, the drums too low, the bass too low and the treble WAY up. Needless to say, one of my favourite albums ever turned out to be a completely huge disappointment in vinyl format, where it really could have thrived. I am in high hopes that someone will remix this album on vinyl to the proper levels and balance that gives it the correct atmosphere and maybe even more of it than the CD version currently has. Also I should mention that I listened to other records after this one to make sure that it was not my record player or setup that was causing this too happen, but it sadly turned out that the vinyl of this album just sounds like crap and completely takes away from it's musical craftsmanship and dark, gloomy vibes.So to this review is just a warning to those who love this album or do not know this album and are pondering on the thought of grabbing it on vinyl. I will tell you right now get the CD and AVOID this on vinyl. Hopefully one day this is remixed on vinyl and sounds the way it should...when that day comes, I will sure as hell buy it and review it again.
