I purchased this for ease using the restroom after surgery. It sets right inside the toilet bowl (with lid and seat in upright position) and it was SO helpful! It doesn’t wiggle around or move while in use (there are anti slip rubber squares on underside to prevent) I would definitely recommend to anyone post surgery or for anyone who may have trouble/need assistance getting on and off the toilet.

Works great, fits round toilet, but not tightly, slips a bit but doesn’t come up or off. May apply adhesive if necessary but for now is good. Works good.

Sturdy, great height, fits my round toilet bowl perfectly. It does not move around on me. I really like the flange that extends down inside the rim of the bowl to contain splashes. Easy to clean and move. A real life saver during weeks of non-weight bearing post surgery.

Great product, just doesn’t stay well on toilet, slides around. But got me through hip surgery recovery safely.

If your bathroom is unheated, BurrRRRRrrrrrrr! Yep, it's hard plastic. No give at all, but simple to install and fits perfectly. I'm 5'8 "and 190lbs, and I can report no slippage. Steady and solid. No stars were deducted because it's my fault; I didn't check for padding and didn't consider it being a block of ice at 2 AM in my unheated bathroom. (Very old house and fixed income.) I see some stick-on thin padding on Amazon that should help. Ok, vent time. Although my unit was fine and arrived in great shape, obviously new, the very first video was about someone who was sent an obviously used unit. Yuck. And she had receipts in her video showing that it had been used. So check yours over when you open the box. Now, to be clear. This is not the manufacturer's Fault! It's AMAZON. If you have spent any time reading Amazon reviews, you will find complaints throughout them about customers receiving a USED product. I'll stop here with a final thought. Great product; you will notice a difference in bathroom usage with that extra height.

An excellent item. The finish is similar to the original toilet seat. It is hard, not soft. It’s very comfortable and just the right height (I am 5’5”). Easy to clean. Stable. Sturdy. It has my five star recommendation. Note that it is for the rounded commode, not the elongated one. It is a perfect fit.

This one stays in place better than the one with the rubber. Little bit too tall for me but I needed some height.

This was overall a good purchase. The height was perfect for our very low toilet bowl. No install needed...it just sits on the actual toilet bowl after you lift the seat and lid. Easy to clean and fairly sturdy. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is that it is quite hard. I purchased this with an upcoming hip replacement surgery in mind. After the surgery, I had a lot of bruising and tenderness in my hip area and this seat was uncomfortable to sit on due to it being very hard material. It would be perfect if there was some cushion to it.

Fits my toilet bowl very well, once both the toilet cover and seat are raised.

I'm 76 and I have severe leg problems, but this really makes it easy to get up from a low seat. It makes SO much difference; I couldn't get up otherwise. It's light weight and easy to remove when not needed for able bodied people. It's really a great invention for us old codgers. If you have trouble to get up from a low chair or seat of any kind, you need this. I have always wondered why toilets are made so low. An extra 2 inches in height would help a lot of people.
