WOW!! I was very hesitant to purchase this because I wasn't sure it would be cool. I mean COOL to the touch. I was hesitant to order, I guess, because I didn't understand how it works. I have the Great Pyrenees, and with the amount of fur they have, they get hot quickly, and this breed is known not to handle well. I have to take a cold water bottle with me if I walk her & it is in the high seventies. I drench her with it mid-walk. I think I have bought every cooling product for dogs, which is hands down the best purchase I have made. After I unpacked it, of course, I had to lay on it to see what it felt like, and I couldn't believe it. It was very soft and cool, not to mention that it is a very well-made blanket. It will stand the test of time. I enjoyed it a little too much; my dog lost patience with me taking over her bed. So I had to get off. She walked to her bed and laid down. She let out this sound of AWWWWW and then fell right asleep. This is a dog blanket, and I am ordering one for myself. I am ordering one for myself. That is how awesome it is. If you are on the fence about purchasing it like I was, Don't waste another minute of your time. Do it - order it! You will not be disappointed. I would recommend this product to all of my friends and family 100%. I have the Great Pyrenees, and they have ALOT of fur, and they are known for their inability to handle the heat. It’s not as big as I expected but it really does stay cool. My husband even asked me if I stored it in the fridge or freezer. It somehow keeps cool all the time. My dog is always hot but wants to be in bed with us and this is perfect for him! It’s very comfortable it has a silky feel to it. I was worried it would loose its magic after washing it but it’s binding up well. It’s good quality. I do recommend!

It is cool to the touch and very soft. Easy care and I can use it anywhere. Great for summer and hotter days… I wish it came in a few darker colors….

I have been one anxious Florida Dogmom here, as my senior dog has been very uncomfortable lately trying to cool down as we heat up here heading towards summer season. He is visibly uncomfortable, panting and looking around for cool relief. He insists on laying on the pictured rough cement floors, as I hurry and decide on new vinyl flooring options. I have placed sheets and blankets on the concrete, hoping he would at least choose to lay there instead, but scoots them all aside so he can get to the cool concrete. His elbows are becoming irritated and calloused from rough floors. Anyways, I have been desperately looking for cooling options, ordering vests, gel pads, and this featured blanket. This blanket was the first to arrive today, so I placed it on his unused dog bed. He magically came right over and laid down, letting out a huge sigh, and falling asleep in no time. I can't believe it, and am so relieved (as he is too)! It truly is super soft and cool to touch-so my first thought was wouldn't it be awesome if they sold one big enough for my own bed. You can tell it is very well made-does not look or feel like a cheap product. If you are hesitant about this blanket, don't be. Take it from me and my dog, this blanket is a keeper and well worth the price. I may just go ahead and order another one just for the sake of having two!

nice blanket - it does feel cooler than a regular blanket for a dog by far. I have it on one of Ella's beds - though if there is room on couch, she will lay there, leather must feel a bit cooler to her. for dogs not allowed on furniture or no leather furniture - this blanket is cooler than a normal blanket so I do recommend it She does lay on her 5" thick bed more than she use to with this blanket on top of it, don't have a temp reader so not sure how much cooler than a regular blanket If you have a chewer, it's a blanket so can be chewed - Ella is not a chewer of her blankets so not sure how it would hold up

My dog, a larger sized king cavalier, loves it. Ive had a gel cooling pad before but after twenty minutes it would get hot and my dog would leave it so it could recharge. Problem was, my dog wouldn’t go back to it. Who wants to get up every twenty minutes during a hot night? Anyway, got this cooling blanket and it’s so much better. It spreads easily over the bottom of my bed, is light weight and soft but most importantly it stays cool to the touch, not icy cold but it’s definitely colder than the other covers. All my dog has to do is move to another area if he gets hot. Most of the time, he goes to sleep and moves very little during the night. Im more than happy with my purchase and, another plus, the blanket is washable! Can’t beat that. Yes would purchase again and again. So worth it. I can’t say its chew proof but nothing is if you have a chewing pup. My dog has outgrown that so i have no problems. Besides if he is going to chew, I would rather it be this than a gel filled pad.

I do not have air conditioning, but I do have an older cat with cancer. I just want her to be as comfortable as possible for the time she has left. I ordered a PetFusion cooling blanket in Small. It arrived and was even better than I hoped. It is soft and silky ... and cool to the touch. I ordered a second Small -- as well as an X-Large for myself. (Repeat: I do not have air conditioning.) The cat has a tumor in her upper left jaw against one of her left sinuses. She is on AD and will sometimes 'blow out' blood-tinged mucus and food when she sneezes. (If you have chronic sinus problems, you will understand what I mean.) Some drooling was also an issue. I folded and refolded the first blanket so that she would have a clean side on which to lay. as I waited for a second one to arrive. By the time the second did arrive, the first one was filthy. I then (a) soaked the dirty blanket in cold water for thirty minutes, (b) changed out the dirty water for clean, (c) soaked the blanket for another hour, (d) transferred it to a mesh laundry bag, and (e) washed it in a regular, eco-cold load of laundry. Between the soaking and machine washing, it cleaned up beautifully! I hung up the blanket using a skirt hanger because my dryer was already working on one load. It was almost dry when I went back later to put it in the dryer. I did find two very faint stains, but I had to examine the blanket front and back twice to find them. Had I ordered the Cool Brown color, I probably wouldn't have been able to find the stains at all. I cannot compliment this product enough.

We use this as a human blanket, despite it being marketed for pets. Very effective for cooling, holds up well after being washed, and has a nice, smooth texture that is easy on the skin.

The blanket is exactly as is described - soft, maintains the cooling effect, cleans very easily - would have loved if it was slightly longer however was a good investment.

Its not cold "cold" but does a decent job in cooling the panting golden retriever in dubai summer days.

This is a great blanket for my hot little dog! It’s cool and soft and is more comfortable for him than the gel cooling pads. It’s a good size and it washes well. It’s nice and light on the bed and it folds up well and light for travelling. It wasn’t cheap but I wouldn’t say it was extortionately priced either. A little expensive but it’s been worth it for the relief he gets. If they’d been slightly cheaper I would have bought another.
