Much easier to shift than the original revo twist
Much easier to shift for my year old than the original revo twist shifter.Easy to install as well.The only thing that could be better is the shape of the shifter housing around the clamp. It is rounded rather than having a 90 degree corner, which prevented me from placing it all the way up against the brake lever. It forces a gap between brake lever and shifter, which results in the brake lever being a bit "short" when the hand is on the handle. Still long enough for small kids hands though, so no big problem.

Way better than a twist shifter!
As so many others have said, the twist shifter on my kids bike was so hard to use. Quick swap to this indexed shifter and it’s perfect! He loves riding now. I got the 6 speed shifter but the bike is only a 5 speed. Number 6 simply doesn’t do anything. 5 and 6 speed bikes have the same distance between the gears so it worked perfectly!

Great option for an ebike
This is a great, inexpensive option for an ebike build. It allows your thumb or twist throttle to be on the correct (right) side of the handlebars with the shifter. It shifts great and the indexing is right on.

It works very well
If your derailer and cables are adjusted properly as they must be of course no matter what you use, this shifter works great both up and down shifting.
