Can i install this memory on my imac 27 inch mid 2010 with Intel Core i5?

And it did not work on my iMac 27 inch mid 2010 3.6 GHz with i5 ver 11,3. Called Crucial and they wanted to tell me I had 3.2GHz i3. Further told me that the only way I could get to 16GB of memory was to install 4 x 4GB chips. Plenty of information out there that states this is not true and regarding my machine, I know I purchased a 3.6 GHz i5 and the Mac self reports this, so I'm not confident in Crucial customer support and unfortunately am out the expense of this "upgrade."

Can Someone confirm if this works on MacBook Pro (13-inch, Early 2011). I currently have 4GB RAM. Thank you. Guru

I have an 13 inch MacBook Pro (Early 2011), it worked and the difference is really noticeable from 4GB to 8GB.

If my mid 2011 imac 21.5 inch originally has 4gb of ram split into 2 sticks. Can i buy this 8gb kit and add it to the existing 4gb?

I have a mid 2011 imac 27" - clearly states everywhere that the max i am to use is 16GB - 4GB in each of the 4 available slots. In desperation from my computer freezing almost every few minutes using the internet I took out the 2 4GB I had in 2 of the slots and replaced them with these 8GB - I now have 24GB available. I can now surf the internet again with more than one window open.

Will this work with mid 2011 iMac?

The mid 2011 iMac uses 1333Mhz ram. usually the 1600Mhz ram will down speed and work without any issues, sometimes there are hiccups. You would be better off getting the 1333Mhz ram.
