Game-Changer for Traveling with Kids ✈️👶
I was honestly skeptical about using this for my 1-year-old at first. However, since we have two other kids, we decided to give it a try—and thank God we did. It’s made from incredibly durable material, looks great, and worked perfectly for us. It made moving around with our luggage so much easier, while giving our daughter a fun and comfortable ride through the airport.

Great product by great people
We have been using Lugabug for past half year (with multiple international trips), and are amused by durability, compactness, and how handy it is at an airport. There has been many times the little ones legs are tired, and the price is such small thing to pay to not need to carry a child in arm with the luggage/stress you already have at airport. One of the buckle broke when we dropped the luggage by accident, so we reached out through email, and Jennie and Jon has been such a delight to talk to. We bonded over having multiple kids, and they were so kind to send the part we need immediately! Really appreciate this product, great product by great people. Thank you Jennie and Jon!

Lifesaver!
This was an easy to use product that was a lifesaver at the airport for our 2 1/2 year old son! We didn’t want to travel with a stroller but knew we needed something for our toddler who runs away every chance he gets. He enjoyed the rides in the airport, it held him comfortably and a had belted strap. Only gave it 4 stars because it had to be held at all times since it could tip forward when upright. Plus one side strap became loose a few times. (Easy to fix, but they should improve that). But even with those issues, it was still fun and very useful.

Amazing product. Really helped me getting around just make sure your bag is much heavier than your kid. It’s very durable and easy to use

Did not work for us.
We bought two of these for a very long trip to India. We have 2 year old twins and knew it was going to be hard to take a diaper bag, 2 carry on's and 2 strollers. After doing much research, I decided to get these. It did not work at all!!!!! My kids were falling off, and the middle part of the seat was NOT sturdy enough to hold them. It kept folding over. It was such a mess!!! It was especially tough going through security check. We ended up taking both of them out of it, putting it inside our carry on's, and carrying both of them. It was so hard holding them, having a diaper bag and two carry on's. We deeply regretted not taking their strollers. I do not recommend these. We stayed in India for a month and it was already too late to return these.

Make sure you have the right suitcase!!
I used this product on a recent trip. On the way to the destination, I brought a Samsonite Omni PC carryon and the lug a bug completely destroyed one of the suitcase wheels. Before we even got to our gate, my daughter could no longer ride because the suitcase was wrecked. She’s 47 lbs, which is close to the max weight limit, and the suitcase was a 4-wheel spinner. That said, the suitcase was less than 2 years old and not cheap, so it really stunk to lose it. When we arrived at our destination, I ordered a Travelpro Maxlite 5 and used that on the way home. The lug a bug worked MUCH better on the Travelpro. The Samsonite was much less stable (my daughter kept falling off when I stopped or turned) and it also felt like I was dragging the Samsonite around vs. rolling it (as with the Travelpro). On the plus side, my daughter loved the seat and we will likely use the lug a bug with the Travelpro suitcase on a couple more trips this summer.

Lifesaver at the airport
It was my first time traveling by myself with my 4yo. We had 3 flights and 2 connections, one of which was in LAX which I knew from experience was a LONG walk to the international terminal. The lugabug was a lifesaver! Transiting through the airport was made extremely easy because of this, and my daughter loved riding on it too. Our second flight was very delayed, and we had airline staff meet passengers on tight connecting flights outside the gate when we deplaned, put stickers on us and ushered us through the airport to expedite the process. We breezed through the Hong Kong airport with the lugabug (with me brisk walking for about 10-15 minutes); am not sure we would have made our connection without this product. I saw reviews that said this works better on softsided luggage, but my softsided carryon has a finicky zipper and I didn’t want to chance it, so I used a hard shell, 4-wheel spinner and it was fine. I love that it zips to flat when not being used so that it doesn’t stick out. Tips: - Extend the telescoping handle and tilt the luggage BEFORE your child gets on, instead of it being mostly upright when they get on and then tilting back. This distributes the weight better and provides less stress to your bag. - Make sure your child is centered on the lugabug; if they’re shifted to one side you will feel that the bag is unbalanced while you are walking. I just tell/remind my daughter to scoot her butt to the middle. - Not sure if this was supposed to come with a lap belt/strap, mine didn’t and at first I was concerned my daughter might fall off, but it was actually fine without. She will naturally be leaning back against the bag because the bag is tilted while I’m walking. I look over my shoulder every now and then to check on her and she’s always been fine; I think you’ll feel (while walking) rather than see if your child is not stable in the seat. We received a lot of compliments and more importantly it did exactly what I got it for - get me and my child efficiently through the airport.

From carseat carrying baby to suitcase carrying toddler. This is a new phase of traveling.
Just strapped it to both suitcases. And YESSSS! My kiddo is only 3 but is 99 percentile so he's tall for his age (43" or 3ft 7in) and 35 lbs. He was swinging his feet on both! I'm too private to post with my toddler on it but still wanted to give good size references to help you better decide. The pink is a carry on. The top strap can certainly be tightened to pull your kids up higher from the ground so their feet won't drag. I plan on putting my backpack on the top suitcase handle to give him something to rest his head on. There is a seatbelt strap too. OF COURSE the suitcase will fall forward if you sit it up right or will topple over if you are reckless. I'm a lone traveler with him so things like this are amazing. Awesome invention if you don't want to spend $200+ on a riding suitcase. Also make sure your top handle isn't compromised. Espcially the carry ons since weight distribution is different with a child on it. I see a lot of reviews blaming the product on things that are do to negligence and not product failures. Hope this aids your decision making :)

Highly recommended
Amazing invention! Small and compact, yet sturdy. We travel a lot and have had an abundance of compliments from strangers throughout the airport asking where they can find one. Such a great idea.

Not ideal for travelling
Only usable for kids with very low weight. Not the best item during travelling.

super helpful in transit
Traveling with 3 kids below 5 this was an amazing thing to have. We used a larger trolley and I was expecting to have to hold it down (as I’m tall$ to keep the balance but I could walk up straight and pull the trolley with my 5 yo on it. Worth the money!

Handling und praktisch.
Ist echt super handlich. Ich hätte nur den Sitz mit etwas hartes unterliegt . Sonnst nix auszusetzen. Werden es auf unsere lange Reise mal richtig ausprobieren.
