Mars Stick Erasers (STD52850)

This brand of stick eraser (and its non-pen regular handheld counterpart) are the best I've found. It's the quality of the eraser material that makes it. Great for illustrators, which is my primary use, though I even use these for touch-ups on final printed documents (sometimes, bad copier marks and toner specs will come off nicely this way). They leave the paper nice and smooth, and take away the unwanted graphite, toner, or other marks nicely. And though you wouldn't normally need to do this, I can even get some fused toners (meaning the toner has been cooked on) to come off without damaging the paper. Pretty impressive. Note: The refills for this stick eraser do not fit in Brand B stick eraser holders. They're wider and require the Staedtler stick.

Desde muy joven comencé a utilizar productos de esta prestigiosa marca pero me gustaba más cuando era de color negro, no sé por qué razón ahora solo lo venden en azul, les falta tener más surtido de colores, pero en cuanto a la calidad del producto no me quejo, borra sin dejar manchas, lo recomiendo, muy buen producto.

I never thought I'd be on the internet writing a review of an eraser, but here I am. Pencil erasers suck. The pink gummy kind on the ends of pencils? They're the worst. They made my math notes messy and gross. Then I realized this thing existed. It didn't change my life or anything, but it made my pages neater and smoother and brighter. I don't really use it much now that my math courses are over but I still carry it around just in case. Works well on my dark Apsara Black Beauty pencils, too.

This was my favorite eraser when I was in school. I didn't use it for art but for math, English, and other subjects. It always erased cleanly and didn't tear the paper. The only downside is they are difficult to find in stores (basically have to go to an art store like Blick's or Hobby Lobby's art section) and somewhat expensive.

Reliability

If you are looking to erase a pencil line from multiple lines, good luck, the thickness of the eraser is too wide. It also retains the lead black and helps spread it around. The blue pen is OK, but I'd hate to see a lot of these in land fills. So it is good you can get refills. Great for children and not professional artists.

Seller sent item in a terrible condition. Eraser half used and filthy, but functional. Note that the eraser is quite thick and would not be useful for erasing small or fine details. Seller not recommended at all.
