The two sections are much welcomed since one side washes the brush, and the other, is useful for adding water to the palette. The only annoyance are the straps that hold the lids - but without these, the lids, I'm sure, would soon be lost!

So far, so good, regarding water-tightness of lids. They haven't leaked yet! This is an excellent little water pot for painters. For on the go or at home. The two sections are much welcomed since one side washes the brush, and the other, is useful for adding water to the palette. The only annoyance are the straps that hold the lids - but without these, the lids, I'm sure, would soon be lost!
