A cocktail shaker is a container used to mix beverages (most often alcoholic) by shaking. For a quicker cooling of the drink before serving add ice while shaking. Then pour the cocktail out through the strainer so that the ice will not water down your drink. To make your shaken masterpiece add desired ingredients (typically fruit juices, syrups and liqueurs) in the martini shaker. Then shake vigorously for around 5 to 10 seconds, be sure to hold the lid on while doing so. Two hands are usually needed unless you are a pro. This is a three-piece cocktail shaker that has tapers at the top and ends with a built-in strainer and includes a cap. The cap can often be used as a measure for spirits or other Egyptians as long ago as 3500 BCE were adding spices to their fermented grain concoctions before serving, to make them more palatable. By the late 19th century, the cocktail shaker as we now know it was in wide use. The martini shaker set was invented by an innkeeper who, while using two containers to pour drinks back and forth, noticed that one of the containers mouth was smaller than the other and held the two together and shook them "for a bit of a show". Now you can entertain and impress your party guests with your craft cocktail skills. Bonus: Free Cocktail Muddler and drink recipes include. Pretty but a bit leaky
This is very pretty and works pretty well, but it leaks a little bit. The strainer holes are a nice size. You also definitely need two hands to use it, but that's not a big deal. Overall, if you're more interested in esthetics I'd recommend this, but if you are wanting to frequently mix large volumes of cocktails with no mess, I'd look for something sturdier.

Nice but impossible to take top off after making a drink
Looks great and keeps drinks very cold. Only issue is it is so challenging to take the top off after mixing a drink. Am i doing something wrong?! Muddler is good. Hoping i can return tho.

Shake it with a solid style all your own
You can get the top off without soaking your cool shirt. The hammered look makes this shaker a real bad boy, and you will look like a serious mixologist. I am starting to get into great drinks, with super fresh juices. Might as well get something really good that will serve you, and others for some time.

Three Stars
The outside of this started to rust after the first time I used it.

Poor quality control
The cap is very loose. It falls off when the shaker is faced down...It seems that not everyone is having the same issue so I assume I got a bad one because of the poor quality control.

Began to rust after the first wash!
I would not recommend this product. After washing it for the first time, the lip of the container began to rust and the inside of the cap also began to rust. This should never happen.
