I was really impressed with this product. It’s super easy to use—just apply it like a regular shampoo and within minutes you can see the difference. The color looks very natural and covers gray hair well without damaging it. It also doesn’t have that strong chemical smell like traditional dyes, which is a huge plus. My natural color is very close to what is pictured on the box (Linen). It's very difficult to match it if you want to cover some gray - most hair dyes, especially natural ones, bring in some unwanted reddish tones. Not this one. The color came out exactly as pictured on the box: very cool light charcoal brown. I followed up with blue toner and sprayed lemon-based highlights. The results was amazing. It was so easy to apply. I tried on a small piece and then I did the whole thing. The Gray hair looks darker now, not completely dark. But my hair looks uniform with the same color now. I'm gonna try again because it is so easy to apply. And it seems that it covers okay. The color the only thing is that Gray hairs.

Let me preface this by saying that I have been coloring and highlighting my hair at home for years. My gray grows in about every 2 weeks and the time it takes to color my hair, not to mention the damage that has become the norm for me, has had me searching for a better and easier solution for quite some time. When I saw this product and read the reviews, I really thought it might be the solution I was looking for. My hair is a dark ash blonde, so I chose the the linen product. I'll admit I was very nervous about trying it but I was hopeful. I finally tried it four days ago. As much as I wanted to love it, it didn't measure up like I had hoped. First off, people say it's not messy but I found it to be very messy. It's not a thick gel like consistency but is more runny, and it seemed to run out of my hand when I pumped the bottle. It looked VERY orange when I put it on my hair, which was quite concerning, because I naturally have a lot of red undertones and I was afraid of what might be to come if it picked up on those undertones. Many reviews said it was so easy to use, but it really wasn't to me. It doesn't lather like normal shampoo. I found it very difficult to get it everywhere on my scalp that might be sprouting grays. It didn't seem to cover very well. It did irritate my skin just a little bit as it sat, but not as much as box dye. I applied it to my roots the best I could and tried to pull it through the ends of my hair but it seemed to be absorbing very unevenly which made it difficult to evenly coat my hair. The bottle says to let it sit or 10-15 minutes but 25 minutes for stubborn grays, so that's what I did. I rinsed it out in the shower and used the conditioner that came with it. When I got out of the shower, I could immediately tell, even though my hair was wet, that it was too dark. As I blew dry my hair, it became more and more apparent that not only was the color much darker than I was hoping, but that it covered very unevenly and was very flat and dull looking. My hair didn't have any natural highlights or undertones. It was almost black. It stained my skin on my forehead and ears very badly. Much more so than box dye. Four days later and the skin on my forehead is still stained. I ended up having to pull my hair through a cap at home and try to highlight it to bring it back to my natural color as much as possible, but it is still much too dark due to the base tone from this product. It might work okay if you have minimal grays throughout your head or if you are used to a one tone hair color. Unfortunately for me, it wasn't the miracle solution I was hoping for.

This shampoo is amazing! I used it for the first time as soon as I got it, and I was thrilled with the color it gave my hair—a color I'd always wanted. Fast delivery and good overall quality. I had no skin irritation, and it did cover my gray hair well. However, I ordered Chestnut Brown and the final result looked much darker, almost black instead of chestnut brown. Because of the color difference, I’m giving it 3 stars.

so happy with my new hair colour! my hair was getting grey (i was blonde) and now its burgendy! covers a lot of grey, but not all, maybe need to use a bit more, or longer, on top.. next time..but i love it nevertheless! love the colour, its easy to apply .. no horrible smells (tip: apply some vaseline on your skin , on the hairline of your face and neck.. so u can whipe the dye off when ur done ) i have very sensitive skin and hair (hyperallergenic) but it gave me no bad reactions at all...mayb a bit dry but that can be fixed with some oil or serum.. i have bought 2 bottles more, (was on sale) so guess my hair will b red this summer ;) TNX amazon for the fast and good delivery!

To say im impressed is an understatement, although it may seem costly for some you will get your moneys worth from it i have medium to long hair and after using it once I have about 2 more uses left in the bottle it is very easy to apply if you find it difficult to apply from your hands you could always use a bowl the nicest thing is it has a pleasant smell and dosent feel harsh on your hair, it looked like it stained my skin but after washing it off in the shower there was no staining and its so easy to clean any spillages i also found that i had no scalp irritation which is a major plus unfortunately I didnt take a photo of my hair before but it hasn't been dyed for 6 months due to recuperating from an RTC my hair was a mixture of Dark Brown , with 5 inches of light brown white and grey roots, the coverage is amazing and my hair feels amazing after I would definitely buy again for what you get its fantastic value for money
