Great value and will do what you need it to do
If you are a MacBook user please read this or you will be scratching your head for a little while when you plug it in.Once you have downloaded device software, plugged it in, and boot up GarageBand, just start playing the device. You don’t have to fool around with the midi settings since the panda mini seems optimized for Mac. At least GarageBand anyways. Just plug and play really. As far as everything else, it’s a pretty good product for the price all in all. That said the keys seem to be pitched down half a step in bite value for some reason. So what should be a C natural is a B, what should be C# or Db, seems to be a C.Also make sure to turn the sensitivity up on your DAW as it seems to need too much force on regular settingsHowever this controller works great and I recommend it for beginners to midi controllers like me.

Okay and usable.
The keyboard part seems to feel rather nice for what I wanted it for: a simple, portable, synth-style keybed to control LMMS with. So that pretty much paid for itself......But the pads, which I was interested in using for recording 'semi-live finger-drumming' in the same software... the pads are extremely stiff, and not in a positive way. In fact, they barely seem to register unless it's on a firm, stable surface, perfectly flat and level, with a hit directly to the center. And I mean DIRECTLY; PINPOINT ACCURACY REQUIRED.The dials and sliders, which I wanted to use to control parameters much like an analog synth... do the job, actually. They feel a bit chintzy but otherwise they're quite functional.Overall fit-and-finish is okay; the printing on the surface was apparently smudged at the factory, not that I care about aesthetics. The knobs are a little sharp, too, but I can live with that.

Best bang for buck, overall great with some small issues.
This is such a great tool over all, the only issue is it takes a while to set it up with the program used for it, also even after its set up if you want to make use of the pressure sensitive keys and pads you have to push really really hard and fast to get any truly loud sounds. You can choose to set it to be a constant level of sound but if your looking for a really good pressure sensitive keyboard I would just pay the extra cash for a better one. Again, overall it’s great and has a nice feel to it.

Spend more and Get More
Felt cheap and it was not plug n play. Had to do tuning with the strength n velocity of the notes. I found that setting the key input to a fixed value ie:75 then no matter how soft or hard you presss it will play it consistently.Otherwise it was a huge pain in the but cuz it wont work properly without doing those changes in the software.Keys GET STUCK!!! SUPER ANNOYING.Wish there was more pad options to adjust.Overall its ok for those who know how to use it. But not what i expected. Just felt like it was underwhelming and cheap for a child to play around with, not for pro music sound production.

Software not included, poor instructions, poor customer support
The instructions for this keyboard is not particularly helpful. It does not come with the software for the keyboard, you have to download it from their website, but aside from telling you to go to the website and download the software is about all the help you get from the included instructions. The issue is, it doesn't tell you WHAT to download. There are many different models I saw and I could not find any downloadable items with this specific name. Depending on your OS (I have Windows 10) you will also need to download a .rar file opener.I tried several different things and got (what I think is) the correct software downloaded and the .rar file opener up, but when I open the MIDI file, anytime I click something I get an error message saying its not there.I contacted the company 5 days ago through their website for help and have heard nothing back.

It works alright. My main problem is that the program to re-map the keys is not provided anywhere. I could only find videos and images of it, but no download links...

Flimsy
I received this product and was pretty disappointed with the fact that it felt so toy like. Was looking for something at an entry-level. However this product felt so cheap I did not even want to plug it into my computer. I sent it back for a refund because of this. I think if you are in the market for a midi keyboard there are some better options for just a few more dollars
