Smoky surprise
Great smoky flavor, packed well into a metal tin. Will find a lot of use for this spice where I was previously using ordinary paprika. Grilled a steak and put some of this on the meat after it was cooked, it was great. Thinking this is a must for my pork rib dry rub now.

Lid does not fit
Tin has a plastic lid that does not close properly. Tin arrived opened, with spices spilled into the box. Can not close the lid.

Smoky and Mild
Many more uses than being sprinkled on deviled eggs! Goes well in chili, stews, and spice rubs. Adds color and a little extra flavor to salad dressings. Not to worry, it is sweet and mild. Completely different from the "supermarket" type. A high quality product from Spain. Made by smoking the pimenton pepper from La Vera, southwestern Spain over oak. There are 3 types of pimenton: sweet (dulce), bittersweet (agridulce), and hot (picante); this is dulce.

Container opens on both sides even though safety tabs were still intact. Huh??
Like others have said, mine was "technically"unsealed as well. Even though the seal tabs were not broken off on each side( Shaker side and spoon side) I was still able to open both sides with safety tabs STILL intact!!. Hope that makes sense. Non returnable.
