I wiped the surface down and let it dry. I didn't touch the "magic sticker." I positioned it, etc, etc. It fell down the same day. Thought it was a fluke and put it back up. Fell down again. And again.Secondary problem: the plastic disc that attaches the metal piece to the wall was crooked on mine--very slightly, but still noticeable (for the 4 hours the product was actually up in my bathroom).Really good idea. I purchased this because it looked easy to install, it was simple, I followed all the directions. The next day, it was on the floor after minutes with a full roll of toilet paper. We stuck it back up and again the adhesive failed to hold up the weight. I ended up reinforcing it with pretty duct tape, at least it looks alright for the kids bathroom and is functioning for now.
