Hi, It makes a normal cucu sound but it echoes after each chirp. (The echoes are kind of overkill but I still like the clock.) Yes, it is made out of wood.

Way too small...can hardly hear the chimes....not recommended

Très belle pendule coucou les chèvre tourne et nous avons le choix entre le chant du coucou ou des chansons qui sont différentes toutes les heures avec possibilité de couper le bruit sonore du chant et de la musique pour le soir. Par contre le coucou ne sort pas mais les personnages sont très bien fait très jolie
