You know, this carrot oil (already mixed with carrier oil) is perfect to wear on your face daily. I use it in the morning by applying Vit. C serum and Hydraulic Acid serum to my wet freshly washed face, neck and chest. I then apply three drops of this oil to the same area. I let it absorb (few minutes) then use daily hydrating face lotion and Neutrogena face sunscreen and my daily light make up routine. Doesn't clog pours, no funny smells, no oily feeling, no breakouts or reactions. My skin has benefitted tremendously from this regimen that includes a slightly different blend in the evenings of lavender, rosehip oil and argon. I'm 46 and my skin looks great, feels soft but not thin and the CROWS feet (ugh) have diminished. I was getting these nasty brown spots from sun damage and those have faded.

I purchased this oil to create customized facial oil for friends and family as Christmas gifts - although I will certainly have to make a bottle for myself as well (I have included a recipe below). I recently read an article about the benefits of carrot seed oil for dry, mature skin and thought I would give this a go since my friends and I aren't getting any younger. The ingredients state it has carrot seed extract, jojoba oil, and tocopherols (Vitamin E) - all good for the skin. I did read that you only need a couple of drops as this stuff is pretty potent - so a great value as I can make several bottles of facial oil from this. I did not notice Canola oil in the active ingredients of my product. Dry Skin Facial Oil 2 tbsp Argan Oil - I also used Avocado oil as both are great base oils for dry, aging skin 1 tbsp Emu Oil - also known to be good for dry, aging skin as it is protective and nourishing 2 drops Carrot Seed Oil 1 tsp Hyaluronic acid I mix all of these in a sterile container and transfer into a dark dropper bottle. I do recommend this product as I have found it to be very beneficial to my skin and have not noticed breakouts (typical with placing a canola oil on your face).
