Perfect, perfect bed for my son!
When we travel home for the holidays, we had used a pack n' play at my mom's house. My son will be three this week, is almost 30 lbs and 37 inches tall. This was NOT going to work this go 'round! I saw this bed while searching for a travel bed and it has been a HUGE hit at our house. My son is still in a complete crib, but loved sleeping in this bed. I actually have slept in it with him and I have to say, it's pretty comfy once you get the right amount of air in it. It takes about 20 secs to inflate and maybe a minute to deflate. It's easy to pack in the travel bag that was free with this purchase at the time I bought it. Now that we are back at home, he's back in his crib but we are trying to determine if we should convert to a toddler bed. He's more than ready but he does love his crib a lot. There was a plastic smell for about a day or two, but I just inflated it and let it air out and now it's perfect. Crib sheets work perfectly and I love that we can tuck the blankets in around him. He has yet to fall out but he does flirt with the edges...I caught him one night lying along the top part of the bed, right on the edge! If you are looking for a travel bed for your toddler, I think this one would be perfect!

Best money we spent! Perfect for grandchildren sleepovers!
We bought this for our grand daughter so she will be able to spend the nigh at our house. She recently turned 3 and was to large to put in a pack & play to sleep. We have two guest rooms, but I was afraid that she might roll off of the bed. There is no carpet in the bedrooms and like I said our beds are very high. This is the perfect solution. It takes no time for the pump to inflate the bed and putting it away was a breeze. It packed up into a small pouch. There are even sides on it so that if she wanted to roll over she could not. I am able to put a fitted crib sheet over the center and it tucks in and does not pull out. It is extremely sturdy and large enough for her and a large dog to sleep together if they want to. The size will certainly be sufficient for a few more years..Our 7 year old grandson also had plenty of room on this bed. This was a very wise choice, she doesn't live far away and we are lucky to have her stay. Each and every time she comes she is always looking for her bed and if it is not out, we take it for her to see. It fits perfectly on the floor next to my bed, so she has the ability to see us if she wakes up.

Much easier to travel now
We have tried different products to solve the sleeping arrangement of our kids (23 month old and 8 month old). The first was the Babybjorn travel crib. It was good for road trip for a while (before the kids are mobile), but not really practical for air travel. Then, it was the Kidco Peapod. It worked great. When we wanted to buy another one for our younger daughter lately, it was on a recall. We still use it as a tent for play at home. Due to the recall, we had to find another solution because our kids like to roll around while sleeping and we were afraid that they would fall off the bed in the hotel. We researched on the Aerobed for kids and this Shrunks Tuckaire Toddler Inflatable Travel Bed. They are comparable but the Aerobed seems to be heavier. Weight is a concern when travel by air since the airlines now have stricter restrictions on check-in luggages. Therefore, we chose the Shrunks Tuckaire Toddler Inflatable Travel Bed. We bought two. The pump can inflate and deflate the bed. It is a lot easier than using a hand pump or squeezing the air out like other products. We use the regular crib sheets on them. The bed comes with a bag that can hold the bed, the pump, and the sheets. We put the beds side by side on the hotel floor. As for the raised guard of the bed, we don't think it is very effective. The kids still roll off the beds while they sleep but it is from a lower height. We are not too concerned about that. The kids slept normally just like when they are at home. As of now, the beds seem to hold the air okay. We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights and the bed stayed firm throughout the stay.

Perfect solution!
We have our grandson stay over at times and needed a bed for him. He's three years old and tall for his age. This blow up bed is awesome! It is incredibly easy to blow up, to remove the air and to refold. It comes with a nice bag to store it in along with the included pump. My grandson seemed comfortable and slept all night each night. I like that it has a bumper on the sides but I really wish it had the bumper on the top end of the mattress too. I got up each night to check on him and EVERY time he had scooted himself up and his head was on the floor - I did add a large pillow to the floor in front of the mattress after that first night so at least he ended up on that! By the third night the mattress had lost a little air and we needed to add some more. My husband claims most air mattresses do the same thing. It was no big deal to us. Other than the desire for a front bumper I think this is wonderful product.

Terrific Travel Bed
Review update: April 2018. Deflated this bed for possibly the last time as 5 year old granddaughter is now in ‘the real big girl bed’ when she comes to visit. This has been the most functional and useful product EVER. It even holds parent/grandparent when reading bedtime stories. After almost 4 years it still is perfect; no issues, no problems. Worth every penny! We purchased the Shrunks Indoor Toddler Inflatable Travel Bed so our granddaughter would have a comfortable place to sleep when she comes over for naps; at 18 months she had pretty much outgrown her travel crib. This bed is so easy to inflate (and deflate) with the included electric pump, and storage/take-along is perfect with the included bag. First used the bed in April and never needed to 'top off' or add more air to it until we collapsed it for travel in September. We used it when we had our granddaughter stay with us while her parents were out of the country on a family emergency and she slept comfortably and well the entire time. The bed has been used on trips, napping and overnight. She loves it! It's her 'big girl bed'. Love how crib sheets fit the built-in mattress; easy to clean, put up, take down. Granddaughter uses the gap between mattress and sides to "stash" special things that she wants on hand the next time she visits.

Fun and durable
Super cool little bed. Took it with us to an out of state concert the first time for pur 6 year old, and she was stoked and had a really good time with it. I also took it to the hospital when my wife had to have emergency service and it held me at 210 lbs and my 60 lb daughter. Didn't have any other options for both of us to stay overnight and it worked like a charm. The remote changeable lights are a great touch and make it fun for my little one. Practical and functional for adults as well.

So many options
I LOVE this bed. We purchased this when my daughter was a year old for travel to visit family. We did bed sharing, and then co sleeping, so she's never been in a completely enclosed bed space (3 sides at most). If we put this so the head of it was up against a wall, it did just what we needed it to (since she scoots herself up at night until her head touches the wall or crib side). We have used this for traveling as a family, for when she goes on an overnight to her grandparents, camping, and even as an option on our bedroom floor while we were transitioning her into her bedroom because it was so easy to inflate, or just have already inflated and standing upright in the event she needed to come into our room in the middle of the night. When you deflate it there are little black flaps on the inside that sometimes you may need to push in so that the air can come out, otherwise it will take forever to deflate, as someone complained about. I would recommend the cover to go with it if the mattress will be near a bed frame as there is a risk of it snagging or puncturing. We go a very very small tear when she was staying with the grandparents, and as a note, the patches this bed comes with are crap. But, we were able to fix it with an air mattress patch purchased from walmart. We HAD to put the cover over it after that, otherwise my daughter would just want to figit with a green patch on a clear bed all night. I LOVE that we can use her crib sheet son it, so she gets to use her own bedding. And a twin size sheet or blanket can be tucked around the whole thing and under it so it stays put if you need your blanket to not move at night. Even with her pillow now, there's plenty of room. As long as you roll it to deflate it, unroll it, and then fold it in 3rds and roll it back up tightly, it fits into the drawstring bag along with the pump. We just leave the fitted sheet right on the mattress, even deflated. Long and short of it, if you travel a lot, your kid does overnights at someone elses house without a designated bed (and will roll off a regular air mattress), or need a solution for a kid to sleep in your room in the middle of the night (while also trying to break them of sleeping in your bed) this is a great solution. It takes up far less room in the car than a pack and play, and with the air pump takes probably the same or less time than a pack and play to set up. As a bonus, you could even use this for a non rolling infant as you can adjust the firmness to keep it form being a suffocation hazard.

Great for traveling!!! Our child,(and parents too!!) are getting better sleep on the road! :)
Our family travels at least one weekend per month and two vacations per year. Our child has always struggled to sleep soundly away from her bed at home. The pack-and-play that we have used since she was born has served its purpose for naps and nighttime but is not a good solution for more than one night away from home. 90% of the time, she would wake up and want to sleep in our bed because it was uncomfortable. We tried new sheets, new mattress, and even purchased a twin size egg crate foam mattress pad and cut it to size. Nothing worked. We recently switched her from a crib to a toddler bed and potty trained within a month, (what were we thinking??) and needed something that we could take on the road when we visit family, go on vacation, or have company ourselves. The Shrunks Sleepover Kid's Travel Bed was an excellent purchase! One might argue that you could get away with just purchasing a twin sized air mattress for less than half the price, but you get what you pay for! This mattress comes with a small electric air pump with a deflation feature. Set up is a breeze, and takes less than 5 minutes from taking it out of the travel bag (included) to putting on bed sheets (not included). The directions are very simple as it says directly on the mattress which part to inflate first. The two parts that are to be inflated are the mattress itself and the outside bumpers (great for a child that is sleeping in a bed with railings at home). Disassembly is tough for any air mattress, but it seems to be a little tougher with this unit. You must inflate both parts and do your best to get any remaining air out of the mattress before you put it back in the travel bag. The bag itself needs to be a little larger with a separate area for your pump so you don't forget it. Quality: 5 Stars!! It is very well made! Our daughter sleeps better on this airbed than she does her own bed at home. Price: 3 Stars It is pricey, but you get what you pay for. Design: 4 Stars It is easy to get out of for a toddler, and still secure so they won't fall out. The travel bag needs to be larger and have a separate pocket for the supplied pump.

Our daughter loves it!
We have used this many times for our toddler (on holidays, or just away for the week-end) and I think will be able to continue to use it for many years yet (she is currently 3). It seems to need a little more floor space, then some other blow up beds (though we have always managed to find the space wherever we have been), but is very sturdy, and there is no chance of it slipping / rolling over, as has happened to us with other types of blow up bed. Bedding can be well tucked in, owing to the design (the inner brown inflatable is only partly attached to the bottom part, so you can tuck bed clothes in round the brown part). It is made from very tough material, and easily withstands my daughters bouncing on it - she . My loves her 'holiday bed' and we are extremely happy we bought it.
