I was in need a replacement pull starter, since I snapped the pull string on my original starter for my Predator after a few seasons of heavy use... This item works perfect. I simply bolted it on, and was ready to ride. It came with 6 bolts that were threaded correctly for the Predator 212. Item durability seems pretty solid. I don't suspect I'll break it or anything like that within the near future.Bottom line: Excellent replacement. I'd buy again if I ever find myself needing another pull starter.

Ordered this for a 9hp Predator engine 301CC. Did not fit. In the questions and answers it said it fit the 301 engine, it did NOT fit. Way to small. Returned it and ordered I hope the correct one from another vendor.

Broke the pull cord and ordered this as a replacement. Fits my 212cc predator harbor freight engine (Honda clone) with absolutely no issues. Will buy again. My log splitter is up and running.

Bought to replace the original on predator 212 CC engine. First tried to repair the old original spring but the repair did not last. HURI on the other hand seems better built. I painted it black to match the original. Arrived quickly.

Perfect fit for my sons doodle bug predator 212 cc after the coil spring broke on the original pull start and easy to install.

Great part, fit perfectly, got my plate compactor running again when Harbor Freight didn't have the parts.

Good product for price. Not very durable though.
