ClairolRoot Touch-up, 5r Medium Auburn/reddish Brown, 2 Count

I found this product during COVID when hair dressers were closed and I needed to touch up my roots. Game changer! This color blends perfectly with my salon color, so I can now stretch my appointments to 3 or 4 months and go when I need a haircut (instead of going more frequently due to color). My hairdresser is impressed with how well it blends. I only do the front and top, so it's not a replacement for my hairdresser - but I do love that I can stretch the time between haircuts/professional color at a fraction of the cost of a hairdresser.

It did the job!! Easy to do at home!

I purchased this because I will be away for a month and I needed something to touch up while away. I tried it at home first, the color was very close to my color but a little more red/orange at the roots where I used the product. After a few days it calmed down and blended. So I will be taking it with me on vacation.

I love using this product in between full coverage colors as it is quick and easy and covers where anyone can see. They have a ton of shades that will blend greatly with whatever color you currently are.

I have to touch up every 2 weeks and this product works really well. It’s quick and convenient. My only complaint is that I really need 6R not 5R. It either isn’t available anymore at all or it’s 3 or 4 times the price. What gives Clariol? But if you’re an alburn, great color. Like all in the red family, it fades easily but I have yet to find a red that doesn’t.
