Can be diluted for a tint or lighter hue. - I used this more like a tint by mixing it with white conditioner. Left it in for 2 hours and it was still very bright. If you want it more light, you will need to leave it on for an hour or add more conditioner. It will fade with every wash. If you use it straight up from the pack unmixed, it will be more potent. Be warnex though, if you have porous dry hair this will deposit a lot of pigment in your hair and it will last longer. I wouldn't remove it with bleach as this can mess up your hair if you don't know what you are doing. Overall, its a great color from Manic Panic. Delivery was very fast (1 day). Very pleased. Manic panic prides itself on being vegan. Their slogan is "we test on celebrities, not animals." **Q: Has anyone tried this turquoise color on dark brown hair? Thanks.** A: The turquoise is the most vibrant of the colors and it lasts the longest by far. You do not need to lighten darker hair but it will only tint over whatever color you have so if you want a bright turquoise result you'll need to lighten. I have ginger hair and I lighten my tips only and ombré the turquoise in. It's pretty easy to do. Just search you tube for bleach ombré tutorials. **Q: How much does this product bleed? I used Punky Color and the color came out very nice, but a month later, I still get purple on my neck and ears.** A: Not at all, as long as you rinse well. I've been using Manic Panic for a decade and Ive never had a problem as long as I rinse well and allow my hair to dry. I also use a bit of conditioner after I rinse. **Q: Is this permanent dye? How long does the color last, roughly?** A: It depends on your hair type, and how you treat your hair. For me, my colours last until I want to change them (roughly 3-6 months). If you blow dry your hair, or use styling products, or are in the sun frequently, the colour will last a shorter amount of time. If you want to extend the colour, wash in cold water (yeah, I know. eek!), avoid previously mentioned things, and add a little colour to your conditioner. If you need to get the colour out, you can wash in very warm water with a clarifying shampoo, a mixture of dawn soap and baking soda, or use a soap cap.
