Q: Will this damage or leave residue on wood floors?

I bought the rug about 6 weeks ago and have had it on my engineered hardwood floor at the front door the entire time, with the door open and sun coming in from the west in the afternoon. I have not had any issues with the rug; I really like it as it catches dirt and is easy to shake out. I have vacuumed it also, though it is low profile and will move with vacuum suction.

Q: I have wood floors and looking for something that won’t slip, other ones we have purchased say they are non slip but still slide. Is this slide proof?

The back side of them are fully rubber and hands down some of the best non slip I’ve bought. Doesn’t mean it’ll never slide here and there, but overall really good at not moving.

Q: How thick is this rug? I need a thin one.

Have been walking on it for 5 or 6 months now, so the “pile” might be a little compressed. But I was concerned about the trip-hazard of a thick rug - and this has been perfect. Thin, stays in place, durable and no tripping. Right now, I think it is about 5 or 6mm thick at most.

Q: Can water seep through this to the floor underneath, or is it completely waterproof?

The underside of these rugs/door mats is definitely a thick layer of rubber and I would believe that it will not allow water to seep thru. I remember feeling that the rug was quite substantial when removing it from it's shipping box. (the heft of it) I have only had mine for a short time and it is outside my front door. I had not thought about "seep" until reading your question.
