Although the description doesn't mention it at the time of this review, these cables ARE teflon lined. The top gyro cable is long enough for the larger 80s BMX/freestyle handlebars, which was a big concern considering many cables are way too short to reach the levers (the top rotor cable housing is approx 14") I typically drip oil through the cable lines and let them sit overnight so the oil has a chance to trickle through the lines, which gives them additional lubrication. Afterwards, they pull VERY smoothly once installed... every bit as good as the name brand cables I have on other bikes. Mine also came with a front cable, which was a pleasant surprise. Some other reviews stating the white cables have black splitter barrels are accurate, but a quick hit with white spray paint took care of that (that part is metal so it's easy to paint). Would definitely recommend!

What!? All this for Eleven bucks! Yeup, believe it. Redoing my 17 year old Redline Slash. Was looking for white cables and came across this detangler setup and took a chance. While this is for threaded forks, it will work with threadless forks. If you are replacing your existing detangler all you need to do is keep your upper housing and you're good to go. If not, just spend an extra Five bucks and buy an upper housing suited for 1 1/8 threadless forks and your setup is complete. Perfect fit! Front brake cable was a perfect fit. All I had to do to the rear line was slide the housing off the line, cut the rear brake cable housing, not the cable itself, add a cable housing coupler then make the necessary cuts to the cable at the caliper. Got the vintage, 80's Freestyle look I was looking for.

So I read somewhere that somebody was rebuilding a vintage Haro and these fit perfectly unfortunately they did not fit my 1987 Team Master the cables were either too short or too long. Just an FYI your levers have to be adjustable type barrel with open slotted for the cable, these do not fit in the regular levers. Otherwise the price is really good and the build quality seems OK not Dia Compe but pretty decent if it’s a rider

I see most negative reviews are from people who failed to do their research. You cannot beat these cables for the price. I ordered a second set after the first set worked great on one of our bikes. You can view the photos to see if the cables fit, but it appears some people purchase blindly. Great deal for great product!
