Worked to create additional wall outlet
Cord cutter here that installed attic mounted antenna for multiple TVs in my home. When I went to connect the master bedroom TV to the antenna and scan for the channels, I got exactly zero channels.Discovered the 75 ohm cable connection in the bedroom was just the wall plate screwed over a junction box with the cable passing straight thru. Some previous owner or contractor went thru the trouble of placing a junction box on the wall, cutting the drywall and running a cable thru it, but couldn't be bothered to connect the cable to the faceplate. SMH at that. Welcome to the joys of a previously owned home.Discovered also that the cable passing thru the bedroom junction box was also connected and terminated at the family room 75 ohm wallplate on the other side of the wall, and I needed that connector functional as well, so just cutting the cord and using it for the bedroom alone wasn't going to work. Hmm, what to do?Got on Amazon to find a solution to this that didn't involve me attic-crawling to the far side of the house to drop another line, and I came across this little beauty. Was able to cut the line in the bedroom junction box, crimp a new connector to each end of the line, and attach them to each side of this T fitting and then connect the back of the wall plate onto the short stubby side of this splitter. Pressed it all carefully back into the wall junction box and screwed the wallplate back in place, and I now have a functioning 75 ohm connector in the master bedroom. This little connector saved me a day of frustration and sweat crawling thru the attic.Be aware it's labeled as a splitter and as is the case with all splitters, there's going to be a loss in signal strength. I'm 26 miles from the majority of DFW's TV transmitting towers and have a 60 mile antenna, so no signals were lost that I expected to get when I needed to use this splitter, but YMMV.It was also a VERY tight fit in the junction box, so keep that in mind when ordering if you try to use it a similar purpose.

Does not work with modem/router
This coax cable splitter works for TV but not for modem/router. Bought it to split signal to cable TV box and modem, but only the TV works, no/too weak signal is going to the modem. Even when cable TV box is not connected, it does not send appropriate signal to the modem. The upshot: this splitter does not work what I need it for.

Great convenience
I bought these to sync my old TV antenna with a new antenna I bought. I figured that since the old antenna works but caused the TV to flicker when anybody moved in the room that two antennas would provide a more stable signal. Now the two combined make for better TV watching!
