My Granson lived this costume for Halloween, needed a little adjustment but was a winner.

Great costume. Brand new, well made. Arrived on time. Fit very well. Comfortable for my 8-year-old to wear as Turkey character in school play. The only addition I made was that I hot-glued different colored feathers to the tail and arms (wings) to give it a more dramatic look. Everyone at the play commented what a fantastic costume it was. The only issue my son had was in wearing the head piece of the costume...it was a bit obtrusive for him because it went over the whole head with a little open part for the face. So he did not wear it. I cut out a small triangle out of yellow construction paper, glued a red piece to it (the turkey has this red flimsy piece of skin that hangs over the side of the beak),tied strings to two corners and folded it down the middle and then tied the beak around his face. It was much more comfortable for him. Overall I would highly recommend this costume for kids because it is easy to put on, comfortable, fits well, and looks great.

We love this costume because it is a full costume. You can take it out of the bag and be dressed head-to-toe without needing to go buy anything else, like a shirt or tights. The legs, body, wings and arms are all one piece you wear like coveralls- the wings are sewn to the costume at the bottom and then you slip clear plastic straps over your shoulders like a backpack to pull them up. This design, and the fact the wings are stuffed with cardboard, makes this one of the rare costumes where the wings will actually stick up. It's ingenious. The head and feet are separate, and of strong, sturdy material. The head does seem to run a little bit small. Overall, this is a comfortable and good looking costume. The only downside I see is that my kids couldn't wear it to school all day on Turkey Day because the wings wouldn't fit in the desk. Since the wings are sewn onto the bodysuit, they cannot simply be removed. Wasn't a problem for us, as we only needed it for around the house and on stage, but it's probably not an all-day-at-school kind of costume.

This was a costume my daughter wore for her schools thanksgiving feast. She was so happy and excited. Everyone at her school loved it as well. Unfortunately, the design for the tail to be held up is a clear strap, on each side, that is poorly attached. By the time feast was happening, both straps had broken, my daughter had cried because her costume was falling apart and the tail was flapping on the floor getting dragged. My daughter was so disappointed and I tried with a stapler and safety pins to try to keep up for the festivities but neither worked. So what I can recommend is once you get the costume, attach stronger straps to hold up the tail and it would be a FANTASTIC costume. Had the straps stayed attached I would give this costume 5/5.

Bought his for my nephew. He’s 10 and it fit perfectly. Unfortunately since he’s a growing boy, it won’t fit him next year. But it worked perfectly for the two events we had. Tip: I reinforced the elastic for the foot covers with a couple of stronger pieces of elastic and used hot glue to secure it. I also used heavy duty Velcro to keep the “feathers” attached to his back.

We really like the costume. My daughter loves birds, so I wasn't surprised she wanted to be a bird, just that she wanted to be a turkey. Of course I found it on Amazon. The only thing I don't like about it is the way the tail feathers are held up. They have a clear strap that you put around the childs are, but it wants to flap back all the time. I put velcro on the shoulders and the part of the tail feather that hit her there. It did the trick. That's the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars. Great costume other than that.

My son loved it. He needed to wear clothes underneath of it in order to stay warm but it was a chilly night

Purchased this for our school Thanksgiving play. The Turkey stole the show with this costume. It fits great. You do have to iron the tail as it is delivered with creases from compact packaging. Overall well made and easy to get in and out of. Well designed.
