Nothing comes close in comparison to this amazing product for relieving dry problem skin conditions. Nothing! I am 57, have advanced Palmoplantar Keraterderma (since 2010), which in layman's terms is a serious hardening of the skin on the soles of the feet and the palms of the hands. I live in AZ, an incredibly dry state which adds to this problem of cracked soles and palms that break open and bleed and peal constantly. My dermatologist has tried everything to cure my condition, which is of course stress related. I've been on $500 prescriptions for Clobex, Calcitratin, Hydrocortizones, etc. and nothing managed to keep my skin moist, pliable, or allow it to heal. I've used petroleum jelly and saran wrap to alleviate the condition, but inevitably the skin dries every time after showering and once the shoes are off. I've used Aveeno Eczema Therapy cream, Cetaphil Restoraderm (for months), and other over the counter remedies recommended by my dermatologist. They all failed to maintain consistent moisture within the layer of derm beneath the surface skin, and the minute I had to bathe or wash my hands I was back to square one. Ladies and gentlemen, I'm here to tell you this is the answer. This is the one! The miracle cure. I've used Pura D'or now for three days with four small applications to my hands and feet. I've also bathed, washed my hair, done some housecleaning without gloves, etc, and guess what? My hands remained soft and pliant. No kidding! I was amazed. And my feet...well, the minute I applied the oil the thickening of the soles began to soften and literally peel off! I've never had such ease in removing these stubborn and normally painful calluses that crack and bleed. Well, the bleeding is gone, the calluses have disappeared, the soles are soft and pliable. I don't have to wear socks 24/7 and can now wear my sandals. I've washed my hands numerous times and they continue to remain soft and pliable--even when using soap! I bought this for my grandsons hair. His hair is very coarse. Seemed to soak it up pretty good. I ended up just rubbing in the remaining of what was left in my hands. Rubbed it in my hands and arms. Very soft, slightly oily. My nose is like a bloodhound. LoL The smell is very faint if any. I'm a hard critic. I actually think this will be a product I will purchase again!

To my nose, the oil smells a bit like the way an olive tastes — earthy, almost like manure. I love olives, so it doesn't bother me, but my bf is less enthused about it. However, the scent seems to dissipate quickly. Since getting the bottle, I've been using it for various skin-related issues: 1. Facial moisturizer: I really like the way the skin on my face feels after moisturizing with a little bit of this oil. At first, I would pump 1-2 drops into my palms then rub it into my face. That actually made me break out ): After some trial and error, the method that works for me is to pump a couple drops in my palms, rub it over my hands like hand lotion, then use the tiny residual amount leftover on my palms to gently pat my face. Deposits just enough oil to moisturize my face without saturating it in too much oil and making me break out. 2. Hair moisturizer: 2-3 drops on my palms, rub around like hand lotion, then run my hands through my hair. It controls flyaways and makes my hair feel silky. I like combing some through my hair before I sleep. I've noticed my hair is healthier and more hydrated since using this regularly. 3. Beard balm: I like to think it makes my bf's beard less scratchy, but the effect isn't major. He does like how it feels on his beard though. 4. My FAVORITE use for this oil, and the #1 reason why I'd buy this again — body moisturizer. At night, my skin gets really itchy for no discernible reason. My legs, arms, and back get these itchy hives-like spots. Rubbing this oil onto the itchy spots stops all irritation within seconds, and I no longer have to scratch myself. It's amazing. I don't know how or why, all I know is that it works to calm down my night hives. I've also noticed that my scattering of chest acne — recurring breakouts and scarring on my chest kept me from wearing low-neck shirts for the past two months — calmed down and faded away within a week of regular oil application. So in summary, this oil performed much better than I expected, and because 1-2 drops go such a long way, I think it's well worth the price tag.

I'm a huge believer in the power of organic oils. I enjoy facial oil cleansing & have collected a wide variety of oils in my research for natural cleansing & moisturizing alternatives. Let me begin with the packaging. These guys care about the environment & it's apparent by the way everything was packaged. The insert was printed on recycled paper, the oil came with a cute little pouch made of natural fibers. I liked that little extra touch because I tend to get my bottles a little greasy & the little bag solved that problem. I don't know about anyone else but I appreciate companies that care about mother earth. We should all strive to be environmentally friendly... :) The oil is AMAZING! I have been using it for a couple of weeks now & have noticed a more even & smooth texture to my skin. I massage 2 pumps worth of oil onto my face for about a minute or until it absorbs, which it does unbelievably well and quite quickly. This is the only oil that doesn't make me feel greasy or as if it's just sitting on top of my skin and I no longer leave oil stains on my pillow cases because it practically disappears, leaving behind a supple and silky feeling. I have to say that I'm completely addicted to that silky feeling. I can't help but touch my face with the back of my hand just to feel the smooth and soft silkiness. I really have to stop touching my face but for now I can't help it, I've never felt my skin this way before! I've always had soft skin but this makes me feel baby soft and I like that! It comes in the perfect dispenser. The oil comes out neatly, doesn't spray and is easy to control the amount you need. I don't usually pump more than twice. This stuff goes a LOOOONG way. I notice that ever since I started using this oil my arms and legs have become smoother & my face has a noticeable healthy glow. It has given me a natural blush and I couldn't be happier; I'm not good with make-up so I don't wear it and I have to pinch my cheeks if I want "blush." The last time I had a pinkish hue in my cheeks was when I lived at home & ate home cooked meals. Those pink cheeks went away soon after I moved out on my own & began feeding myself. ' Seems like this oil really helps with blood circulation, hence the pinkish hue to my cheeks & the vibrant, healthy glow to my skin. I wish I would have used this sooner! I love this oil so much I put it in my body lotion, shampoo, conditioner, my home-made oil lotion bars and of course, I clean my face with it (by rubbing 3 pumps worth of it for about two minutes, then wiping it off with either a warm, wet towel or a dry one, depending on how lazy I feel that day or night). I love, love, LOVE this! Do yourself a favor & try it yourself. It's wonderful stuff. This oil is definitely a must-have for any beauty regimen. This oil actually moisturizes over night!!! Any non comedogenic oil, or oil mix I’ve ever used wasn’t as moisturizing as I’d hoped and my face would feel dry by morning. This oil keeps my skin moisturized all night and I’m impressed. It also doesn’t break me out! I’ve noticed my combination skin has evened out: it’s not as dry after my shower and doesn’t get extremely oily an hour later from starting the day too dry (that’s always been my battle). I’m a 40something female who can’t use a lot of the hyped up wrinkle creams, due to reactive and cloggy skin. I also don’t like creams with a ton of ingredients that I can’t pronounce. This oil really moisturizes and minimizes the appearance of wrinkles for me, in this cold weather we’ve been having. I haven’t used in the summer humidity yet. 🤞 I use 2 pumps of oil after my shower before bed, then another pump focused on fine lines around eyes and sides of my lips. I also use 2 pumps after washing my face in the am, before makeup. I use cream makeup and then dust some powder and bronzer over top. The oil is perfect for blending cream makeup. After powder and bronzer, I use a little bit of the oil on top of my smile lines/upper cheekbone area near my eyes, on my lips and a little around my lips. It sinks in and marries with my powder by the time I leave the house for work and gives me a really nice glow without using pore clogging, shimmery stuff. I also think it helps with the appearance of fine lines in those areas of my face. I really hope this helps someone!

I have coarse straight hair, but it is light enough to me moved by the wind. I used to use Garnier fruitis and that was light weight enough to have each of the hair strand floating. This product is pretty much like corn oil, thick in consistency, no where near light as it feels like a heavy oil, when I put it on my hair it grips and vecome stuck to other strands making my head feels like I havent showered in days, one good thing though. I find it pretty good for skin, especially in winter time. It does not make my hair feel softer like other light oil products, but those products have alcohol which dries the hair. As for shine, it's not much noticable. I have 50% grey hair that is long so it glissens like glass in the sun, but this mutes it down. Will still use it, but if you are looking for something light but moisturising for coarse hair, this is not it. I think getting a glob of cheap coconut oil on hair is more useful.

Love this product on my skin. I have allergies and this stuff is wonderful, no problems using. Just don't get it by your eyes.
