Cool design, elegant look, easy to use and bright light.
Cool design. Elegant look. Very easy to turn and off as well as easy to dim or increase the light just by touching it. High quality material. Highly recommended.

It arrived broken
Had to send it back - it didn't work. Transformer broken.

Bought in 2012 - used every day - still going strong
Was looking at my order history because I wanted to buy a second one, and realized this has been on my desk since 2012. Still going strong, and we use it every day. We normally don't change the position, except for rotating the lights up or down, but it held up pretty well. Not sure I get another one given the high price. One would expect these things to be cheaper after so many years.

Good looking but expensive for what it is.
In short, if you need a very neat looking, quality lamp for your upscale highrise office or condo, this will fit well. It is much more expensive than other options that produce nearly the same output and color temperature, so if you just want an LED lighting solution, it's hard to justify the extra expense.I actually have two Aquo lamps from Koncept as well and prefer the look over this one, although the Z-bar is a tad bid brighter and more versatile. This thing is pretty long too, such that I can extend it quite a bit high over the work surface to maximize the coverage area.Quality is good - it has a very solid feel to it and the machining is very precise. The pieces fit together very tight with minimal tolerances. It feels good knowing you have a well constructed lamp after paying out the nose for one of these things. The transformer unit is lightweight and is the type that is separate from the plug, so it doesn't occupy your precious power strip real estate. This is an especially important design for someone like me who uses a built in desk with an undermount power strip - you don't want the weight of the transformer to pull itself out. The transformer itself can be mounted somewhere else underneath. (this is not the same case for the Aquo)There are two color temp options and I opted for the warmest for all three of my lamps. Interestingly enough, despite both (Aquo and Z Bar) being rated at 2700K, the Z bar is a bit warmer. Might just be a different batch of LED's but it is noticeable.I had a slight issue with the dimmable touch sensor when trying to activate the lowest setting. When I slide my finger just above the off setting, it goes to the dimmest setting, but when I let go, the light turns off. When I do it the opposite way, by sliding from the off position to just barely touching the lowest on setting, the light turns on, but turn right back off when I let go. I tried this about a dozen times in a rather OCD state, and could not get that last, dimmest setting to stay on. If I move over another spot to the next light level up, it stays on. What a tease.I spent a week looking for the best LED lighting solution for my new home office - and the Koncept desk lamps were pretty much the only answer to quality, uniqueness and functionality all rolled into one. There's also an option to add a motion/occupancy sensor to these lamps.Great for people who want the best of the best and are willing to pay for it. I hate walking into a friends house and seeing the exact same thing I purchased. This is why I bought several lamps from Koncept - because I know few will spend nearly a thousand on some trivial LED lamps in their office. It makes mine look that much better! (*in my best snobby voice*)Verdict:PROS: Beautiful looking. High exactly detail in design, precision low tolerance machining and craftsmanship. Quality, well distributed (no hotspots) light output.CONS: Finicky output adjustment (uses touch sensor), especially when trying to activate the dimmest setting. Expense.

Beautiful and good quality
The best modern lamp you can find with reasonable price. The location of the switch/dimmer is a little impractical.

Great light
I really did not want to spend the money on this however saw someone with the little brother version and loved it. I have a dual monitor computer setup and this is a really nice complimentary way to get light. Very directional and can keep it high without blinding myself. I wish it came in more colors, the red on the other models really stands out. It can be a bit cumbersome to adjust at times when I need light low due to the positioning of the lamp in relation to the monitors but I do not regret the purchase one bit.

Worth the money!
I bought a Koncept Z-Bar desk lamp several years ago for my office at work and it's still working fine. I bought a cheap knock-off for my home office and it didn't last a year so I decided to spend the extra money get another Koncept Z-bar. The dimmer is a nice feature but the placement on the top back of the middle arm seems odd. One word of caution, the lamp that was shipped was an older model in a new box, so make sure you get what you pay for! Of course I returned it and fortunately received the correct model on the second try.

Nice design
A bit on the expensive side but it is nicely designed. I would have given it 5 starts but I had to buy the MT01C3-MBK desk clamp to attach it to the desk. The round base is large and more suited to a floor light. At this cost, one would think both base attachments would be included with the light.
